Yes, well, I was wondering what those little folder thingies mean. Please excuse my lack of proper vocabulary... -_-; Anyways, to clarify that a bit more, I mean those folders that either are on fire, are just 'there', or them ones that are tacked, it seems. Those are the ones I've seen anyhoo, but I just want to know what they all mean. Curiosity may have killed the cat, yes, but did they ever mention anything about me?

The folders represent threads, the ones that have varying degrees of flames are 'hot' topics meaning that a lot of people have responded to them. The ones that are tacked are ones that some member of the staff has deemed important - usually FYI's or rules of the board. The padlocks mean that the topic is locked and no one is allowed to reply to it. the lines are ones with polls.
I think that's all, and I am going to move this thread to ask a mod.

Thanks! And, erm, could I ask why you moved it? I'm just curious, as always... Because when I read what that board was for, it seemed perfectly alright for this topic.

I moved it because it didn't appear to be a major problem, and we try to keep the number of posts on SOS down as small as possible - for our own sanity Usually we reserve SOS for things like account or access problems and things that need immediate attention.

Oooh I get it now. Now that you've explained it. Now that I've read what you've explained. Now that my brain has interpreted what I've read of what you've explained into my own language. Now that I've learned how to use my brain that interpreted what I've read of what you've explained into my own language. Let me stop ranting now...

I'm glad and it'll probably take a day or so for my brain to untwist that...
