In my efforts to make Agent_Magnolia's pet page look a little better, I'm drawing a few pictures to go along with it. Here's my first one, of Magnolia on a cloud and Sys-op in the back...uh, I don't know...riding on a star:  Comments, anyone? Is it bad? Is it tolerable? Thanks! |

It's really good!  Um...it's kinda strange Magnolia has wings...but...it's still really good! I wish I could draw like that...I can only use the How to Draw setion, and then my pets look boring and like any other pet...yeah.... |

Thanks! Well, Magnolia doesn't really have wings--those are decoration.  Aww, don't say that.  I'm sure your art is fine, and you know what they say, "Practice makes perfect." Of course, I practice all the time and my art isn't quite up to par. Plus, I got rejected from the art gallery twice.  |

Of course, I practice all the time and my art isn't quite up to par. Plus, I got rejected from the art gallery twice. Well, I was saying that was strange because I knew she didn't have wings...but it still works! As for my art...you can tell what that something is supposed to be, it's just that I don't have a unique style. When I try to develop one, the ability for the subject of my art to be recognized disappears. I have been practicing, though. |

I wouldn't call it getting "rejected" from the art gallery... just not getting in. I suppose maybe it's the same thing, but when they have only so much space for a lot of entries and they're trying to showcase a variety of skill levels and styles, I don't think that it's because you're not good artists and Donna just looked at your pictures and said, "Ugh, no!" I know a lot of talented artists (including you two) who've entered tons of times and still haven't made it, but deserve to (IMHO). I guess the Art Gallery's just like so many other things on Neopets-- it takes persistence more than anything else.

I guess the Art Gallery's just like so many other things on Neopets-- it takes persistence more than anything else. Yeah, I know what you mean, Tdyans. I remember the first time I was rejected from the Neopian Times, I just kept writing more stuff to pester Josh with. I got in with my third work, I think. Thanks for your comments, everyone!
