Yes - I watched Gumby too! I never had cable (it was a Nickelodeon show) but my dad's coworker would tape them for me. And I also saw Inspector Gadget - it was on regular television when I was young. Later, I believe when I was twelve eleven, they made another Inspector Gadget television series where Gadget was very short. It wasn't as good, but sometimes I had a few extra minutes before going to school, I would watch the end of an episode with my carpool friend before leaving. I loved Gumby when I was pretty young! Mainly to watch him split in half though... Inspector Gadget was the only cartoon, besides Doug, I liked when I was a smal child. Never have known why, those were just the only two I liked. It's really sad to see Disney slaughter a good cartoon like that, and THEN make a HORRIBLE looking sequel... Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-inspector-gadget....

I saw the Super Mario Bros. Super Show once and loved it. Why'd they take it off the air? Or at least revamp it?

I loved Fraggle Rock when I was little...both the cartoon and the muppet versions. I also liked Alice in Wonderland and the Care Bears (not to mention the "regular" little kid shows like Sesame Street...which has now been killed by evil TV people of doom who wanted to get rid of Cookie Monster.... Phooey on them!).

Heh, I remember "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Clorissa Explains it All" (two of my faves back then) but does anyone remember "My Brother and Me"? Stupid show, really, but I liked it then...just two kids who played tricks on each other all the time...

I remember Clarissa and the Dark one...but I hate scary stuff and never watched Are You Afraid of the Dark. I could probably handle it now and laugh at its stupidity, but I'm easily scared and it doesn't take much to give me nightmares....

Heheh, thanks. I've always found the Smurfs odd... I kept hoping Gargamel and the cat would finally end up capturing (and eating) the whole lot. And is Vanity Smurf gay?

I take it it's photo-doctored, not real, right? Yeah, I always hated the smurfs as a kid... They were just plain BIZARRE. And yes, I think he was a queer...

I just think the smurfs are scary. And what's up with using 'smurf' as an adjective anyways? Meep is sooooo much better. Oh and no problem-o dude.

My favorite thing on SNL though was when they were having a little kid's show, with this train conductor guy...anyway, they had three other people--Umbrento Unity, Cathy Caring, and Katie Kindness (or something along those lines...). They all had a shirt that had the first letter of their names on them, so it was U, C, and K (most of you probably see where this is going). Anyway, they got a new friend, Fred Friendship, and wanted him to stand in front. So everytime he was about to get there, the conductor freaked out and tried to break it up...and the four people with letters on their shirts had no idea...very funny ;D Not sure what reminded me of that...
