I'm going to take the opposite side on this one and say that I don't find the HW boring at all--there are quite a few bosses, and they all have decent abilities. Plus, so many famous Neopians appear in this chapter. Oh, and the HW has Hubrid in it! I fangirl him quite a bit :3 I do admit that the monsters are icky, to say the least. (Also, totally unrelated to NQ [II], but Kat, your name rhymes with the subject. Most amusing when it's under the "last updated topic" bar xD) True, that's one thing I did like about HW - lots of familiar faces. ...don't talk to me about fangirling in NQ2. XD Please. My fangirling is known far and wide around these parts. ... PAGE 500? How long has this thread been going?! |

Someday, I'll play an Insane game again--but not until I get to kick Terask's you-know-what a few more times on Evil and Normal. I will never get over how I spent two months playing on Insane mode only to get my whole party killed by the stupid mutated draik thing. |

QUESTION! For NQI, it is my understanding that each level awards a trophy. Bronze for normal, silver for hard, and gold for insane. How does this work for NQII? I've heard you can't get the gold trophy unless you beat a time limit?  |

(Actually I didn't know NQI worked that way too, but the way you described the trophy-earning matches what I knew about NQII. XD) |

No time limits at all, Sarn--as long as you complete the game, you get a trophy for NQ II. I have a friend who took over two years to complete a game, and she still got prizes and a trophy. ^_^

There is a Neoquest II race trophy for finishing in a short time. I can't even imagine playing through quickly enough to get it...

A Cave Troll:  Is it just me, or could this fella be wearing some lipstick? xD Okay, I'm still soldiering on with NQI and loathing every second of it. I want the avatar, but once I get it, I'm not sure if I want to continue and get the trophy, because then I'll be tempted to play twice more to upgrade it to gold.  Edit: Erm ... okay? I clicked away from my NQ game and then used the back button and tried to move, and now it's telling me to create a new game on Normal mode ... :I I didn't get very far (just the cave) but ... *grinds teeth* |
