I didn't get into the JubJub Day poetry gallery but I got into the Petpet Appreciation Day gallery...and got a Moltenore! There's literally only two of those on the TP right now and while I'm going to make a fortune off this baby, the question is...will I even find a buyer.
chinhands
Also, it feels apropos that my 60th poem is about Weewoos. I wonder if I can somehow make it to 100 wins...and make my 100th poem about NQII. HAHAHAHA oh boy Kat here we go again with your NQ poetry.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA my offer on the only Sword of Apocalypse Stamp on the Trading Post was accepted which means AAAAAAAAAAA *screams endlessly and cries at the final row of stamps I still need because those are going to be absolutely brutal like millions and millions brutal* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Time to see if I can somehow get lucky and restock the last few stamps I need instead of flinging my Food Club winnings at them Attachments:

Time to see if I can somehow get lucky and restock the last few stamps I need Uh-oh D: I wouldn't recommend trying to restock in Stamps at all. There are just too many pro restockers who have been doing it for years and have lightning-fast internet and reaction speed. I've personally tried and never even managed to get ONE profitable stamp, let alone an r99. I really wouldn't recommend it! For a beginner, I would recommend Kayla's shop. The lower-rarity profitable items, like Bomberry Elixir and Jar of Forest Earth, stock in bulk, so even if there are like 5 people buying at the same time, you have a decent chance of grabbing one. Kayla's things sell very quickly too, so you'll start to see profits within just a day or two instead of having to wait for weeks. The Pharmacy is also beginner-friendly. Sporkle Syrup stocks for like 3K and sells quickly for 55K. The pro restockers don't bother wasting their refreshes there because they're after bigger fish. Intermediate shops include: - the Food Shop: Look for foods priced at exactly 10,000 NP. Even if you don't get any, there will still often be low-rarity Neggs and Purple Neggs that stock in bulk and can give quick profit. - the Book Shop: Look for books priced at exactly 10,000 NP. Even if you don't get any, there will still often be low-rarity books that stock in bulk. Buy the ones that are asked for in faerie quests. Those sell quickly. More in-depth restocking guide here: www.neopets.com/~BrianneaSomeone made a more recent one since then but I can't recall the URL for it right at this moment. Anyway, I hope this helps. Fair warning though: Restocking is a form of gambling with time and can be addicting. So set yourself limits and play within them.

Yeah, uh, I think when I hang around the stamp shop it's more for myself than for restocking. I'm hoping my Black Market Goods boon from the last Obelisk battle will help me get a little restocking done by showing me THE GOODS but I'm pretty sure I'm still going to be competing with other Sway members who chose the same boon.
But thanks for the tips, Stephanie! I don't think I'll spend a lot of time trying to restock anyway considering I do enough on the Internet as it is.
Guh. So, I'm going to just save and cry for the last NQII stamps I need. I wish competitions gave out stamps as prizes but from my experience it's usually paint brushes, petpets, and codestones.

Yeah, sadly stamp-collecting seems to be The End-Game on Neopets. It attracts the interest of a lot of people who have been accumulating nps for years. It's hard to compete when you've taken time off from Neo, and when you have a busy work-life! With just Food Club and competitions though, there's still a good chance you can afford the multimillion stamps within less than two years. (though whether you'll still be interested in Neo after all that time, that's another matter ) Btw, re: the competition prize pools, they've actually undergone a revamp! Since 2018, cheap codestones like Mau and Har are no longer in it. The most recent prize I won was a secret lab map piece

I've been getting petpets and paint brushes recently though, haven't gotten anything else. Let's see for Quiggle and/or Nimmo Day. I still have a long list of stories I want to write for the NT so maybe I'll still be around in two years. Assuming the legal profession doesn't decide to level up and beat me into the ground. Maybe I'll stop after I get the Ramtor Stamp and the NQII Esophagor Stamp, which are still relatively affordable given enough Food Club good days, buy some stuff I've been meaning to replace after my account got hacked, and only then begin the long arduous journey to the NQII stamp avatar (and completion in general, pls let me prove to the world just how much NQII means to me HAHAHAHAHA).

Today, I completed Illusen's Quest 50!! I probably wouldn't attempt such a risky investment again XD; The total investment for the 50 quests ended up being around 14.5 million. The staff is worth at least 20 million. I'm going to feel really rich after I sell it. Memorable moment #1: When she asked for Monoceraptor Plushie for quest 43, I frantically neomailed all the sellers on the TP and thankfully one of them was online. Memorable moment #2: When she asked for Candy Cane Chocolate Advent Calendar for quest 49, I neomailed the only seller on the TP and got no response. So I searched galleries using the Shop Wiz and neomailed every gallery-owner I could find, asking to borrow and promising to replace the item. With 3 minutes left on the quest timer, someone was kind enough to send theirs over. I later found a seller and was able to replace the item for the person who so kindly lent me. Feeling very grateful right now!!! :'D

So I won at Food Club, right? Well...I decided to impulse buy a few things. I have priorities. Shush. (I'm also thinking of buying a ZDAP not for the avatar but because MINE. GIMME.) This makes me rethink the way my gallery is organized because it's just "gifts", "stuff I decided to buy/acquire for myself" and "stuff I won from special NT issues and competitions" and it's going to look weird when my Garin plushie is in one category and the Jacques plushie in another, and every single one of my NQII plushies are in one category because I impulse bought them but my Rohane plushie was a gift. Also, this random event got way too real, okay. I don't need to be reminded that the part about losing my NP and my items was my reality when I managed to get my account back alsdfjlasjfsd

Also it looks like the most expensive NQII plushie is Terask, at 4M, which is doable. I can...actually...collect all the NQII plushies if I want to. Do I want to? Yes you do, Kat. Yes you do.

Congratulations, Stephanie! YOU DID IT
Didn't make it into the Kau Day poetry gallery. I wonder if I submitted too late...but I submitted the day before Kau Day, NST. Maybe there really were a lot of entries. Or should I start reconsidering when I submit?
And no word on my 12-part series either, but that should probably be expected as the NT is taking a break.

Okay, my 12-parter got rejected again. I may not be able to get this in for a while, I think I'll try again in a couple of weeks instead. So for now -
Let's try stuffing a short story into the form (again) this time.
