The economy of Neopia is a strange one... when I played years ago, Meepits were worth millions. The other day I purchased one for about 1,500 NPs! But then some things don't change, like Faerie PBs... Would love to one day be able to grab one for about 300K. Here's to dreaming!

They plummeted in price a few years ago. Before that they were generally about four million, IIRC. Meepits shot down a while back when they were also given out en masse. Supply and demand.  |

Meepits were given out after the transition as a "i survived the neopocolypse" since so much crashed and went wrong when TNT moved to jumpstart. |

DOUBLE WOOT! Looks like Droplet is planning for both the Borovan and Christmas issue. I also have two other articles in waiting, both toy related (one is about the danger of Darigan Toys and another is how Donny fixes broken toys). I planned to have an issue for each NT in December, but it doesn't look like that'll happen. Oh well, the toys article can pretty much be printed at any time I suppose.
EDIT:
TRIPLE WOOT (for a combined PENTA WOOT)! Wow, Droplet got through them real fast! Though now thinking about it that makes sense, during Christmas TNT takes the rest of the month off until after New Years, so her and probably other staffers are right now working extra hard to get in some extra days work before taking a week long break.

 Just got a Pirate Draik Morphing Potion from anchor management. That cheers me up somewhat. Maybe if I sell this quickly, I'll be able to afford those Black Square Glasses for my new pet, Taulal.  I need to stop wasting so much time on Neopets and get those papers written... |

Related to the last few posts: I've had this Magical Strawberry Chia Pop up for trade since before the transition and I've only gotten four or five extreme under offers, so guess where it's going now? :T
