Feh, I was hoping that we'd get some new challenges today. Nope, never on first day, and good thing, too--ever since the second time they did an event with same-day-participation-based rewards, before which they did give new challenges the "day after" first day, and a lot of people complained because a good chunk of the world is asleep or at work for the whole time frame from when the news is out (read: start of the challenge, about 4pm NST) to midnight NST roughly eight hours later. Honestly I'd be happy if they did away with the same-day-participation-based rewards entirely (as I ranted last year) because it entails consistently having some time block with which to play every day, rather than being able to at least catch up later. |

Accidentally logged out before the lag hit and had a panic attack since it was taking 5ever to log back in.
In other news, upon getting back in, I checked my inventory. the MME finished morphing, and I got the Bonus item! ^__^

@uh... Uh.. lots of circles: Yeah, I understand why they'd delay it. I actually forgot about them doing that, so it caught me by surprise. And yeah, the whole "same day participation or NO TOP TROPHY FOR YOU" thing is a load of bull.

My secret is that I only buy white codestones now, particularly since Habitarium got shut down. <_< In general I just save up red codestones from fighting the Koi Warrior over and over in the Battledome, and I also had a bit of a stockpile (like, 35 of each red type or something?) from that before I was able to use them. |

Coaster: I was wondering how to do that Also, I wonder how much NPs you've got to be able to afford the secret ninja training school. WELL that depends on how much you're willing to spend. Since you can cancel a lesson, you can theoretically only do lesson which either asks for a cheap Red Codestone/Red Codestone you just so happen to have. That said, its random which one you get so this is a very slow way of doing things. For example I don't do Zed Codestone quests for my Ice Bori and Cloud Wocky and only allowed 1 Zed for my Fire Lupe. It saves me some NP but when a Zed shows up I know I pretty much lost a day of training. As for how I make my NP, I made a lot of NP over the years so I have that. Also I recently got into Food Club which has been giving me nice results (though not recently, the bets have been kind of bad as of late). Also I get a huge bulk of rare items I sell at the end of the year (that said, 6 days before I start my SDB cleanout, actually, I have a thread idea...). I'm guessing you buy White for the Volcano Redemption? I find that too random chance, not only could you get a Mag or Sho but the wrong combo of Whites can be more expensive than a Zed (like them asking for a batch of Eo). Also recently I switched over from battling the Koi Warrior to battling the Giant Spectral Mutant Walein and I think it gives out more Codestones, but that could just be me. Recently I wasn't getting anything good from the Koi Warrior that I thought TNT might have changed him. Apparently not, it was just me, so maybe my luck has moved on to the Giant Spectral Mutant Walein. But overall, I would say Red Codestone training is very expensive and/or time consuming depending on what you do. |
