See, that's the kind of thing I'm talking about--I NEVER said that! "However, since the writer OBVIOUSLY doesn't play anymore, I think I'll improve it." I said that to show how there is no way I can ask permission!!!!! I'm not saying since he/she is gone, I can take it over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole thing about an early early issue is that, if you look at it, there's just nto much detail and such in the story--No, I'm not trashing it, but there is not much "story" to the story! In early issues, if you look, the writing and such is not that good--it was a year and a half ago! The guidelines were not as strict, Neopets was younger, and there were less entries in the Times in the first place, so lots of stuff made it in! I honestly all ya'll that assumed that I thought something that I didn't should take a chill pill, and try to READ what I write next time--it's really annoying to see people misinterpret what you say, and then think a whole new way of you. Well, it was something easy to misinterpret. So easy, that I think you need to calm down-- WE didn't ALL read it wrong, it just came across the wrong way. So, Simsman, I think you need to take the chill pill. We misinterpreted, you came across the wrong way, and we all see things clearly now... Of course, like Jan said, all the points were valid. And, Simsman, no one was screaming or angry (of course, you were both, but that's aside the point ). -Noremac9

Also, stoneman (i think that was you), thanx for the salute. You're welcome. You're taking on a lot of fire for something you haven't even done. I feel your pain. It happened to me when I posted an article I wrote that was never (and rightly so) published about British spelling. Some topics just generate strong feelings-- so ride it out and look on the bright side-- this thread will die eventually and everyone will forget the whole thing.
