OK, I'm a bit worried, it's been almost 2 weeks since I got my held-over letter. Should I re-submit? (It's The Skunk and the Teacher, a short story Collab if Droplet is watching )

I also have a question. If you got your heldover letter a couple issues before a special issue, but it wasn't published yet by the time special issue is going to be published, and the submission itself isn't dedicated to the special issue, would the submission be held past the special issue just because it wasn't a dedicated submission, or can it possibly be published in the special issue?

If you put in "(For the Special Issue)" in your submission title, it will go into that issue. If you don't, it won't, unless it's the week before.

Also, you should wait at least 4-6 weeks before resubmitting a held over piece. I believe that's the standard rule of thumb, right? I dunno, it's never happened to me.

well for me, I had a total of 4 heldovers, and only 2 of them are published so far, in 2 consecutive issues. The next issue is 250, I'm not sure if it will be "special" so I was just wondering if I will have any more heldovers being published in issue 250.

My comic (Act of Kindness?) got held over two weeks ago. If Droplet is reading this, should I resubmit?

I don't know. Maybe Droplet can answer. I'll wait.
