We agreed to wait on this because of a lack of interest. This originated with the NTAG awards, but last time I checked (yesterday) there was nothing updated, even though I sent in category nominations....

what?!?! this isn't part of the guild.. a month ago, a couple of us were on a board, and we were talking about giving silly trophies to people in the neopian times so everyone can feel happy about what they do....

I say go with streaming_blue's idea and just make this a fun board where people can post nice things about other writers/artists. As for NTAG's NT Awards, I couldn't tell you exactly what the deal is. Chimesjon posted in the guild a day or two ago and said it was still on but would be a little late, so I assume he's gotten and is considering any suggestions that have been sent to him. I don't know any details of his plans though because I like to have at least one thing that I don't have to have my hand in over there.  |

Thanks for the votes of confidence guys, but I am beginning to believe I am just wasting space in the Neopian Times. At least this is the message I have been getting lately for everything I do. Anyway, I appreciate the comments, but nothing I have done is worthy of any sort of recognition whatsoever.

Anyway, I appreciate the comments, but nothing I have done is worthy of any sort of recognition whatsoever. Oh, come on! We all love your work. Maybe you need to work on your self-esteem. You're a really good writer!! Everybody has been rejected at some time or other, so just because your Christmas story wasn't published doesn't mean you should mope around feeling sorry about it. It doesn't mean you're a bad writer. Josh may not have gotten it, or maybe something else happened. In short, your work is definitely worth recognizing!!!! |

COME OFF IT, STONEMAN! NOW! I MEAN IT! You know very well that we mean everything we say in this forum, and we say that your articles are hilarious. And I KNOW that it's not true that everything you've been hearing about your articles is negative because I've seen everyone here (including myself) tell you again and again how much we enjoyed them. "Merridel vs. . . who cares!" and "Uv Corse We Can Speel" (or however you put it) rank among the funniest things I have EVER read in the Times. So just cut it out, would you?
