they do have reviews at idb now.. I know. I even applied as a rater and got accepted - but I couldn't log in so that was the end of THAT - anyway, I don't think it's bad to have more opinions. Not every word said by an IDB rater is gold y'know - and they're battledomers, not writiers. |

My only piece of hatemail this week was....well.....wasn't really "hate" so much as "rude".
"What happened to the originality? All you did this week was rip off an old joke. A BAD old joke I might add."
to which I replied "I *like* that joke. And nowhere did I say 'this joke (c)(T)(R)all rights reserved TO MEH!!!!' I can't come up with purely unique jokes that have never been done in one way or another all the time. Professional cartoonists occasionally borrow from the classics as well. That said, I'd like to see you do a weekly comic that is nothing but unique. If you can do that, I'll eat "what happened to the originality"."
No response yet.....I think I was a little obnoxious, but darn it....I hate it when people stand on the other side of the fence and sling unhelpful and obnoxious comments but never try to *help*. In this case

Don't you know that you exist purely to make us happy? Since you're so good at comics, you must have mind-reading abilities that allow you to make the perfect comic for everyone! You're just being lazy and now you've failed to make every idiot happy. Shame shame. You'll have to work on that... alright? You have plenty of time after all - neopets is your life. (of course, the above can apply to anyone here that has written/drawn for the Times. I'm ashamed of the lot of you... you sub-perfection slobs) ;D |

 How's this, Karma: the better you are normally, the more people expect of you. I din't particularly like htis weeks comic, but I still think that you are one of the best things that has ever happened to the Times.

Truthfully, Ember, I didn't much like the comic this week either but I was honestly drawing a blank for a joke. Its hard to go from a series and back to one-shots again. *shudder* I hate one-shots, I need to start another series. *hears groans from the others* Oh, pbbht on you all o.o;;

Old jokes are funny. There's a reason people still remember them....well...maybe not.
I've been collecting "ur article wuz a piece of dung" neomails...I think I'm up to 6 or 7. And even more for smart alecks who "took my advice".
