hmm. Reminds me of another calvin and hobbes quote.
"I think the surrest sign of intellegent life out there is that it has never tried to contact us."-calvin
Also, if you guys get a chance to read "Weirdos from another planet" the one episode about calvin and hobbes going to Mars could also apply to this topic.

I really do hope he stays safe and he will be in my prayers tonight.

"Politicians start wars, soldiers finish them." Or die trying.
And while politicians sit in their million-dollar homes, soldiers leave their middle-class homes, sometimes leaving a spouse and five kids behind.....

Yeah, thanks for that poem, Meghan.
I wrote one yesterday too, but as it is a bit...angrier, I figure I probably shouldn't post it here.

I wish you the best, err... Shing-sempai (and the James too... I hope he comes back safely... I'm sure he will, though! I mean, he does know all those people who are expecting him to come home and stuffies, and so, you know)!
I know someone from Korea... there's this boy who comes to our schools (or used to, because now I'm in Middle School) for a few months to learn English. I don't know what happened to him, but I think I saw him... err...
Once again, I wish you the best of luck, and keep writing -- if not for you, for James!

Not much to say that hasn't already been said, especially about the international sandbox... hope everything turns out okay.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. I'm sure he does too. Once again, I wish you the best of luck, and keep writing -- if not for you, for James! I don't intend to stop writing or drawing or whatever. (by the way, in case you're wondering - this is him : oddhatter.net/mepics/jsb.jpg ...apparently he's gotten a lot thinner and more muscular, though.) By the way, about that poem I wrote- - I've gotten two emails from two people who agree with my angry little two minute poem. For one - her boyfriend has just been sent off, for the other, its her brother. *sigh*

...when will we all stop fighting? By the way, I don't really find this appropriate in this thread but... where's the poem?

...when will we all stop fighting? By the way, I don't really find this appropriate in this thread but... where's the poem? I decided against posting it as it contains a bit of profanity(and considering it's all of five lines long and not terribly good anyway...). You can look for it at Two Minute Poetry if you like. It's linked in my profile. 42!
