:-/Weird Foods: Tigersquash by hippiesoul—I didn’t really like this article merely because that particular style didn’t hold my attention well. However, it was well-written. Thus the poll at the bottom... What's your opinion? Will you guys please go vote on the poll I started in a new thread? "Who are you calling disgusting" - I haven't read this article yet, but I can't help but be reminded of tdyans' "Who Ya calling Plain?"...

I posted these reviews which I did last night in the other thread because the reviews were started there-- but in case someone doesn't see them there I will repeat them again here...
Avoiding Capital Punishment : by shidi A very informative and much needed essay on the proper capitalization of not only Neopets words, but ordinary words in general. Thanks, Shidi!
How (Not) to Get Ahead on the Battledome Chatboard : by karma_leafbarer Hysterically funny article-- with the humorous twist we all love so much of defending that which we actually hate-- rules of the Battledome Chat Board? FAH! Who needs it?? We do! Thanks, karma_leafbarer!
Darigan Has Been Framed! : by stoneman3x Yeah... whatever.
Experiment_ex : by ladee_sarah Extremely convincing and impressively scientific experiment on two different methods of making Neopoints. I would have like to have seen the concluding remarks reflect the aim of the experiment though-- which was how easy it is to make Neopoints, not which is the better way to make Neopoints. Even so-- well done!
An Amateur Psychic's Guide to the Future of Neopia : by stoneman3x Yeah... whatever-- part 2.
Hidden Tower Reviews 3 : by aachewwthree Part Three of a series of articles on this topic-- well written and a must read for anyone even considering wandering around the Hidden Tower with lots of Neopoints to burn. Thanks for the great tips, aachewwthree!
The Ups and Downs of Hoarding : by bluescorchio104 Ummm... various humorous remarks hidden in a rambling bit that really needed more of a point to it. Good, but could have been better if there were at least concluding remarks in the different sections. My opinion... not a diss... I saw a lot of potential in this article and was just a little disappointed-- sorry!
15 Hobby Suggestions : by hippiesoul This article suckers you into thinking it's sincere and goes totally insane. Some bits actually sounded reasonable though-- gotta fix that, hippiesoul!
The Ideal Neopia: On Items and Guilds : by sol_luna_estrella Okay, I understand that Josh combined two separate articles into one, so I'm not going to comment on that. However, looking at each part separately, I still thought the ideas expressed were slightly repetitive in both sections. I was a little confused about the point of the first section-- was it all about freeing trapped, unloved, unused faeries? The second section was much better-- a plea for not just joining a guild and sitting in it doing nothing. Good articleS-- not terrific-- but good and with a logical progression of thought.
What's in 68 Million Names? : by scriptfox Whoa! Excellent step-by-step how-to-name-your-pet guide that proves you don't need underscores and strings of numbers to make names (and screen names) that at least SOUND good. A great article-- and this is coming from a guy with a 3 in his name.

Paint Brushes of the Future : by too_kule Cool! You can't beat asking on the chat boards to come up with surprising results to any question. It's fun to imagine what the future will hold. Well written and organized. I even like the explanations of why some paint brush suggestions would NOT be made in the future.
They've Got Personality: Making Your Pet Interesting : by muas This is one of the best articles I have ever read on the subject. It is a concise, well-written, step-by-step guide. Definitely worth reading-- and even committing to memory!
Quests Questioned : by el_gran_gordo Nothing beats an article based on scientific research and personal observation. This was a a great article, missing on one thing-- an ending. It kind of dropped off at the end-- but other than that it was an amazingly informative article. Excellent work el_gran_gordo!
Restock!! : by lavenderamethyst I really loved the screen shots-- a picture paints a thousand words of explanation. But I would have liked to have seen more advice for people with slow modems-- like me-- and an explanation on HOW to scope out prices and market values in advance-- but it was a good article I think could easily have been made into two parts-- which means I guess, that I wanted MORE.
Feeling Lucky? : by glowing_dreamz I liked this article not just because it answered every question that ANYONE would have about Smuggler's Cove, but because... well gosh darn it, I've never been lucky enough to find out first hand. Excellent and comprehensive article on an elusive part of Neopets.
Snow Faerie: Friend or Foe? : by averyangryshaylir This seemed more of an editorial than an article, and did not provide much more than "proceed at your own risk" as advice. Okay article. Kind of short. My opinion-- so don't mind me. I kind of liked the way it mentioned theories on why she wants you to do the quests and what her motives are-- would have liked to have seen more of that maybe.
Weird Foods: Tigersquash : by hippiesoul I choose choice "A". I think it's too cool for words to write an in-depth article about an item people hardly even think about. Great!
Who Are You Calling Disgusting? : by flipp_garuda Fine argument for mutants-- would have like to have seen the "interviews" introduced as "interviews" and not find out at the end of the quotes... but other than that-- good job.

GACK! I just noticed why no one liked my "An Amateur Psychic's Guide to the Future of Neopia"! When I didn't know if I was going to be frozen for this issue or not, I asked Josh to put up the article under my sister's SN (meggiemufin) with "Mystic Mufin" everywhere in the article-- and then when I was unfrozen, he said he would fix that and put it up under my SN with "Psychic Stone" everywhere in the article (as it was when I originally submitted it). I even RESUBMITTED the ORIGINAL so he wouldn't have to change anything. Josh said he would do that-- but all he did was change the AUTHORSHIP back to me, NOTHING else! The Neomail link is linking everyone to MY SISTER!!! No wonder I haven't gotten a single Neomail about that article and no one likes it!!!! GACK GACK GACK GACK GACK!

Anyway, thanks for the reviews guys-- I really enjoy reading them, even if my comic has gotten "meh" reviews for practically every one of them... now comes the question... should I give up the comic series or not? I hate to think I'm wasting space that a real comic could be taking...

Aww, stoneman! All your work is good, even though you got an A and not an A+, I feel the same way (in fact, I don't even know if you're feeling this way at all, lol).

I hate to think I'm wasting space that a real comic could be taking... *thinks* Well, the REAL questions are: 1. Do YOU enjoy your comics? 2. Could the time you put into them be put to better use? In my opinion, if comics like Gekko Location, DIY, and Dark Neopia (it's a TOTAL copy cat) get in consistantly, the Neopian TImes isn't too hard-pressed for space.

I read through two of the articles so far: Shidi's on Capital Punishment and Stoneman3x's on Predicitons. I don't know the exact rules for rating stuff, but these two are very good! ;D I will read through the others... and as I become a more and more experienced member here... I will become wiser...

Hidden Tower Reviews 3 : by aachewwthreePart Three of a series of articles on this topic-- well written and a must read for anyone even considering wandering around the Hidden Tower with lots of Neopoints to burn. Thanks for the great tips, aachewwthree! You're welcome! I still don't know why everybody likes HTR so much. Personally I think my work is junk compared to the rest of you.

I'll start simple: This week, me review the articles (since I've already read 6 of them). Me will post my reviews (although I have the feeling I may use a wider grading range, like C- to A+)

Me will post my reviews (although I have the feeling I may use a wider grading range, like C- to A+) Technically, we shouldn't be using letter grades at all. They tend to hurt feelings. . . *remembers the Week of Chaotic Reviews*
