The full story behind the invention of the eletric chair's posted at www.snopes.com/science/edison.htm. (I'd copy and paste the story, but they don't want their content reposted.) So...I guess a dentist could've invented the electric chair for humans, but Edison's aide first used it on animals while trying to prove that a rival's power system wasn't as safe as Edison's kind.... |
