Some Nominations from me (that I haven't sent it yet  ) Comics: Karma_Leafbarer, Oddhatter Okay... so I only read the comics most of the time... But I like silly-ness and the drawing... I wish I could draw like some of the artists that have comics in the NT. |

Personally, I don't want to have too many categories. I noticed that in the last round of NT Awards all of the different categories were something of an issue. For example, first there was best short story, and then there was best continuing and assorted story authors, which were the same nominations as in the short story section *EXCEPT* it was split in two, so it was basically just offering more awards for grabs for short story writers.
However if we want as many people as possible to get awards, then yes, we should have as many categories as possible ;D so there are as many awards as possible to give.
Hmmm, I seem to recall Chimesjon was less than thrilled with whatever poll host he used (I might be wrong on this, so don't be sure). Maybe we could use the polls availible at this forum, if the administrators are willing, and that would be good as people could discuss the awards along with the polls. Just a thought-
EDIT : Besides, what would be the criteria for a "New" author. I think it would help if there were some more standards for the NT Awards. And I would prefer if an author who only got two things published since the last NT Awards would not get nominated for, say, best author overall - otherwise what would be the point of having a *new* NT Awards rather than just letting the old ones stand.
