I don't have the problem with Neomail everyone else has. I get something published and I MIGHT get one or two telling me how cute the drawings are (points to Izzy) and how do I draw them (points to izzy), and if I would draw something for them (points to Izzy, but point out that Izzy doesn't do that).

Between that and having my last two submissions ignored (apparently my submission was ignored again this week), I think it's time I turn my attentions to other things.

Well I have sort of gotten hate mail, but they gave me a reason ;D Like, my first 'hate mail' was a guy who said STEREOTYPER!!!! THE DARK FAERIE IS REALLY NICE SHE GIVES OUT STUFF TO NEOPETS!!! I guess that doesn't really count as hate mail.

Since I started writing series, I got a lot more mail.

I got that for my "Different Perspective" story, even though the Dark Faerie part of it was really only a very small aspect, the main point behind it being that the orb was made to hurt, not to help. It wouldn't have irked me so much if I had gotten ANY neomail OTHER than that one for that particular story, but I didn't. And even that one was a week late in coming.
Honestly though, Dr. Sloth gives out transmogrification potions, but anyone who says that HE'S benevolent just causes other people to roll their eyes. The neopedia and several other parts of the site straight from Neopets suggests that Dark Faeries ARE evil, at least for the most part, not to mention much of Neopian literature from the greatest authors in the Times (Scriptfox to name the most significant). The truth is, Dark Faeries are rather convenient ready-to-use villians that Neonuts has blessed us with.
