Well, when they were going to put the Ski Lodge game up I had to choose a name, and fast. So I just chose snowflake :-) Felicia Actually, I think it's one of the more lovely names of the characters. I also like the Scarlet O Lara...lol As for me doin the name thing, it's French for my name...  hugs |

My name story is kinda boring. I have a friend named Chris, and he's a huge Sex Pistols fan, he's nuts over them, I'm sure you all know the song "Anarchy in the UK"? Well it has these lyrics
" I am an antichrist; and I am an anarchist"
He has a shirt with those lyrics on it, so one day I blacked out the "T" in antichrist with black paint, so it read "I am an antichris"
He cut sick at me, but it stuck, and we all started signing our names with anti before 'em.
Including antiandy.
Oh yeah, and the neopets name - Well, I had antikyle but I accidentally put the wrong email address in, so I didn't get the activation code. I play bass guitar, sooo "antibassist".

Weeeellll...about three or four years ago when we first got the Internet, Taffy was my favorite word. I really wanted a dog or cat named Taffy, but since we weren't getting another cat I named everything else Taffy to compensate.  Including my neopets name and my email account. "chic" is mostly an add-on because "gurl" was taken (gag! my immature days ) but it's also French for "in style" and a shortening of the word "chick". |

Erm...let's see. The first bit of my email addy, an_aspiring_author, is because I like to write.
The first bit of my *other* email addy and my primary Neopets account (kittykmae) is 'kitty' (because I like cats) squashed together with 'kmae' (pronounced 'KAY-MAY', an old nickname).
Mushroom...everyone acquired weird nicknames in my group of friends when one of my friends was dubbed 'Froggy' by a relative. (Some others were Guacamole and Kiwi.) Someone dubbed me Mushroom, and no one seems to remember why.

I got my user name from the Stephan King book "It" Everyone thinks that it comes from a Silver Surfer villian. I've never even read that comic. My other name, JackalAndromeda comes from me loving Jackals, and Upsilon Andromedae which is some star or something. I should have made it be JackalAndromedae, so that people wouldn't keep thinking that I liked that Gene Roddenbery show...
I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I think that Adam's nickname Number 6 comes from the British Sci-fi show "The Prisoner". In it, this guy resigns from a high up job in the government, and he's kidnapped and taken to this freaky place called the Village until he tells them why he resigned. Everyone there is refered to by a number instead of a name. It's a very, very trippy sort of a show. I luuurve it.

Hey, P/S/D! I was just wonderin' where the names came from. Pickles? Snowflake? Dracosolaris? I'm just a curious little fellow I like hearing about how people got their names, too. Someone answered already about the Latin, which is true. My first account (same as my web site) was called auryanne, which was a dragon character that I drew a lot. She was a sun dragon and that's how I got my second account name as well. I have to admit though, if they ever "recycle" old names I would definitely want the account with my RL name |
