Some behind-the-scenes for the last puzzle:
The uniting theme: plants with white flowers. This clue was hidden in original narratorpost for this puzzle. The hotlips plant sputtered “Ffffff--,” and looked at the flamingo, her red leaves pressing into a frown. “You of all people would let strangers in?” What she is sputtering is the hexcode for pure white: #FFFFFF. June Scarlet solved half of this-- she almost immediately brought up the quote and the idea of colors having hexcodes-- in the context of the colors on the back of the puzzle pieces. We were very impressed. (So what were those colors? Well, for the first puzzle...) Although Ginz got the closest! I notice that there's five of each color (red, green, blue), but some of them are noticeably different shades, especially Gelquie 's piece. Could mean something? I noticed that too! I'm wondering if we'll be divided into teams later on, so each can solve a part of the puzzle? But that's just a guess! While for the first puzzle they mainly provided a potential way of organizing, the real significance is for the current one-- the current teams had been generated from the very beginning. The characters had persistent aura colors matched to the pieces, which the sage Mr. Snuggles used to group the PCs. Here’s a look at the plants featured in the puzzle: Fairy Wand, Chamaelirium luteumPoet’s Narcissus, Narcissus poeticusSpoonwood, Kalmia latifolia

Also-- Whoa, nice!! You guys are awesome! \ o / It looks like all three codes for this puzzle have been solved already! We've got some rad cryptography folks in here. Nobody even needed to know that Pixie based the individual lines of the ciphers on the first letter of each team member's name! (With the exception of Aggie and Anton, for whom we used "T" and "D" respectively instead.) We only just moved to a new location IC, but do you think everyone would be okay moving on to the next location and puzzle sometime tomorrow? (Obviously not right away; we still need to finish the prep for it.) The characters will potentially be separated into these current teams for the next round. Will this be okay for everyone? Please let us know if it's not, and we can wait a little bit or figure something out!

I don't think I'll be able to get a post in until tomorrow evening (about 22 hours from now). But I guess, in a way, if you go straight to the next part, then it's basically like one big narrator post to react to.
It's your story, your vision, so I guess it's up to you if you would like some IC chatter before the next step.

As you are not the only player who may start interactions tomorrow, we have decided to allow for some time to rp and adjust to the new setting before moving on. Players are free to catch up narratively as little or as much as they want-- just go at your own pace.

This has been a lot of fun so far, puzzles with story attached is my kind of thing.

Thanks for the behind the scenes and checking in!
Someone on my team solved the puzzle, but it was still fun to try it on my own!
And yay for cookies! Looking at Era, I kinda headcanon that they use a lot of mental energy, so all the varied treats they've gotten are very welcome. xD
I've also found that the song High Hopes by Panic! At the Disco fits Era very well, for people interested! (With the exception of all the "momma said" stuff. It's complicated.)

Blue Team, our thought process was something like this: “We should give Blue Team the rainforest entrance, just so poor Anton can have some shade.” “It’s too bad that Princess Sunshine is on the same team, though.” “...What if we just give Anton a really thick parasol?” “A parasol with a fun pattern?” “Ducks? Geese? Umbrellas? Waterfowl with parasols. Yes.” “Yes.” ...I hope it works out okay! XD (Let us know if not, though.) Ranumgen literally put the vampire and the actual Magical Girl of Sunlight on the same team.

No worries, what team is complete without a Being of Light and a Dark Antihero learning to resolve their differences and become stronger than before? =D
...Or those differences will be irreconcilable and you'll have a recurring villain on one side or another.
...Or maybe this Magical Girl will avert the Light-Dark trope entirely and they'll be no more than acquaintances.
Find out next time, on Princess Sunshine: Magical Hero April Showers!

Find out next time, on Princess Sunshine: Magical Hero April Showers! Haaah, Anton only wishes he was a Dark Antihero. Aaaactually, Anton has a second major character trait beyond "vampire" that I've been gradually dropping hints on as my own mini-puzzle. My last post should have enough clues to figure it out, but you need the right cultural context. (It's not anything antiheroic though, he isn't nearly cool enough for that.)

Hi everyone! A few metagame things for this penultimate maze puzzle:
Over the course of the maze, each team has one chance to ask their respective narrator NPC if they're going the right way. This help can be used once--after that, they will become confused.
We’re thinking that team decisions for which way to go could be confirmed by at least two team members agreeing. Does this sound reasonable?
And finally, would you prefer updates daily (lasting about a week), with the goal to be able to weigh in on each decision, or updates twice a day (about half a week), with the expectation to alternate decision making with other members of the team? As the game has already gone longer than the initial projection, we really don't want this round to take two weeks, but what are your thoughts or preferences?

By two team members agreeing, would that mean a total of 3 team members agreeing to go one way, with one suggesting and two others concurring? Maybe a way to make this easier, could people concur by doing an OOC post and liking it if they agree? (I'll demonstrate next post, but I'll have a proper IC post too.)
(I'm gonna assume splitting the party is not an option. xD )
I have no preference to how long it goes. I don't mind it going longer if need be, for I'm having fun, and the longer moments give me time to rest if I'm also happening to have a bad day. ^^

Red Team only
The limerick told us to "and carry on as before, for the lady you seek lies ahead" which makes me think we should go straight ahead whenever possible.
So my suggestion for this junction is straight.
If you agree with this suggestion and you're Red Team, like this post.
