Clothing: Hmm, I thought Pteris were originally from Tyrannia, so having a Pteri painted Tyrannia seems a bit... redundant.

Yeah, I was about to say, I remember it being said somewhere, I think an editorial? that Pteri's being Tyrannian would be like Grarrls or Chomby's being Tyrannian or Koi painted Maraquan.

www.jellyneo.net/index.php?go=newrainbowpool&pet=pteri&colour=&emo=1Tyrannian Pteri: HA! That was old TNT that said a prehistoric Neopet couldn't be painted Tyrannian or an aquatic Neopet couldn't be painted Maraquan. But this is JS, they completely ignore site lore so do you think they would let this little detail stop them? Okay, that's a bit mean, but you get my point. JS doesn't exactly follow site lore that closely so ones that the old TNT had such as certain Species having Colour restrictions is honestly out the window. Remember, the Pteri isn't the first to have this done to, the Tonu was the first prehistoric Neopet to get painted Tyrannian. Though would be interesting to see what they would do for a Tyrannian Chomby and Grarrl; also as of yet no aquatic Neopet (Koi, Jetsam, Flotsam, Peophin, Kiko) have been given a Maraquan paint job. BUT this isn't about them, this is about the Tyrannian Pteri. And it looks like I guess what you expect a more Tyrannian Pteri would look like: a very fluffy bird with talons. Wish they were a bit more creative, like maybe make it look like a raptor, but I guess this isn't too bad. Toy Pteri: So this Pteri combined two things I don't like: the Toy Colour and the Down For Maintenance Pteri. And instead of the two's negative qualities counteracting each other it actually magnifies making me end this before I say something even more nasty like how the green beak and talons are ugly on it.
