...I may or may not have impulse adopted a pet, morphed them into a Cybunny, and oil painted them already. >.> (No regrets.)
Anyway, really digging the oil paint Cybunny. The lack of definition in the ears is a little offputting at first, but I don't mind it and I think it's a good color overall. I like the little bits of texture TNT added in.

Aha, there's the Starry Night. It was pretty much guaranteed that there'd be a starry night pet the minute they rolled out this color, the question was only which pet. I like the gradient they have going from front to back, it's like it's fading into darkness.
*eyeballs the clothes* I'm also seriously starting to wonder if they're planning an overhaul of all pet art soon, because all of these nice new detailed clothes continue to clash with the cartoony pets like nobody's business. The new Cybunny colors already show signs of inching in that direction (see how the Oil Paint has no thick black outlines, and the Toy only has the black outline along the neck ruff, which is admittedly weird as heck but art development nonetheless.)

Okay. So I know I'm bumping an old thread here, but... HOW did I miss the Starry Night Cybunny??? I just happened to be figuring out if I wanted to submit anything for the dream pet giveaway, one thing led to another, and I ended up looking up all the oil paint pets on Jelly Neo, and... Oh my goodness! Wow! Submitted my cybunny for an oil paint makeover. Even if I don't win the dream pet giveaway, I have a strange feeling I'm going to venture further away from my old rainbow pet standard and paint my cybunny too.

The Oil Paint Cybunny however is the first one where I can see a famous painting inspiration. And it's nicely done, the reference is obvious but also subtle. Hopefully we'll see more famous paintings in Neopet form from this Colour. Toy Cybunny: Let's... let's not ruin the good mood from the genius Oil Paint Cybunny by paying any mind to the uncreative Toy Cybunny.
