Back in her room, Silver located the opening she shared with her neighbor. "Hello?" --- Glyph's frills lit up, and she giggled before successfully repressing a further outburst. She pulled one across her face, like a mustache. " God-forsaken is an interesting but taken nickname lab nickname. I had no actual desire to mess with your hands until you told me not to. So, Grendel, were you, in your own opinion, wasted on that prison? Was that the best you could have possibly achieved?" The Glycean in the nearby room slowly lifts its head and one of it's eyes begins to glow, indicating it was active. "Gg?" ---- Her nose twitched. "If you even so much as loosen a bolt on my hands I will personally dismantle you. Don't think I can't." her ears remain back. "Wasted on the prison? Don't ask rhetorical questions, of course it was not the best way to spend my time, but it isn't like it was useless or without purpose. They processed me, made me work on things I wasn't interested in, and belittled me. It isn't like you have exceeded the bar there." [Hello? I saw the keeper's pet. You are right, that creature should be kept away from.] --- "Interesting." Glyph let the frill fall, and she sat cross-legged on the ground. "I should have expected that of the Trallyr. Dismantle- very good, Grendel. Congratulations on being the second person to notice all on their own. Third, I suppose, but that was a different body. Alright Grendel, what ARE you interested in? Work without passion.. is meh. We all have to do it sometimes, but I really do prefer work with spirit. My personal idea was to give you the education your father couldn't bribe for, but you are probably beyond what could be taught to you in your field of interest."

It should be monitored and let free. Reminds me of borers from home, very corrosive. Scary.] --- Grendel stays standing and looks down at Glyph. "I notice for it is my expertise. I know a false body when I see one." She runs her eyes over Glyph one then regains eye contact, her pupils but tiny dots in the yellow iris inset in the black orbs of her eyes. "I live for life. Living things. Biology. I love to watch them work to appreciate the time it took to make em. I'm over the whole education thing, it was long back. Doesn't keep me cross." Her phrasing shortens as she loses an air of naivete.

Her phrasing shortens as she loses an air of naivete. Silver thought the creature was just fine where it was, but she didn't want to start off on a bad foot with her new neighbor. [ Heh. Now you remind me of two friends from home.- ] and since she was talking to a Glycean- [ A friend is a person you enjoy spending time with and can trust to not work against your overall well-being. ] --- Glyph smiled for a moment, but her smile was briefly replaced by a frown as Grendel continued talking. She stood up, brushing off imagined dirt. "This is no more a fake body then your hands are. As you or your parents choose to trade out your original hands for the ones you have now, so did I and my family. That is a cultural norm for Jalgar, and my upgrade is a cultural norm for Rinamians." Her frills rustled, and she smiled again. "Life is a wonderful subject to study. My original field of interest. Mr. Stitcher could be a co-worker of yours, depending on what kind of animals you prefer. Land? Air? Water? Warp-beast? Should we pop back in on Mr. Stitcher and Captain to see how they're doing? And since it is your expertise, yes, your probable conclusions about Silver are correct, and it is best to hurry with our extraction of her. I fear your friend will kill her the moment she realizes."
