Okay. I submitted my parody of 12 days of Christmas on Dec. 13. I requested the Christmas issue, but told Scrappy she could use it for any issue she felt fit. I got the acceptance neomail (NOT held over) on Dec. 21, at 5 something AM. Which would have been before the Christmas edition of the NT was released. My trophy changed from 2x to 3x at that time. My entry was not in the Christmas issue. I figured that maybe she just did both the Christmas issue and the following issue at the same time. I thought maybe there was an issue that would come out automatically during the Christmas break, and she needed to have both of them done. So when there was no NT that week, I thought for sure it would be in this week's issue, but it's not. My trophy still says 3x, with only two articles listed when you click on it. I thought maybe the link just wasn't there, but it really was "hidden" in the issue.
Do I give Scrappy one more week? Do I send her a neomail and ask? Do you think she'd let me resubmit for NEXT Christmas? I'm just a bit confused, and wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how it was handled.
Allison definitely send Scrappy a message (send it to nt_editor, not theneopetsteam), as she probably forgot to include it. Since it was accepted on the 21st, it more than likely just didn't get included by accident.
Definitely get that checked out, seeing as Scrappy can be a bit scatterbrained (but still lovable)!
I neomailed Scrappy last Saturday and didn't get a response and it still hasn't been published. At this point I might just resubmit in December, especially if I don't get a response back. I mean, I guess she could add it in to the 2017 Christmas issue, but I feel like it's kind of too late at this point. Oh well.
Okay. Bumping this thread. In the past year(ish) since I first posted this, I neomailed nt_editor twice about this (the first being the one I mentioned in this thread, the second months later, and never did get a response from either neomail. Should I resubmit now, requesting the Christmas issue, explaining what happened with this last year?
Well, I resubmitted it a few days after this (I want to say around... Dec... 7th, maybe? I'm really not sure now. I know it was well before Dec. 17th. I thought for sure that would be enough time. And I never got a response. I indicated it was for the Christmas issue, too. Maybe try next year again?? Third try's a charm?
