Gelquie That's true- can't trust photobucket for anything. XD Though the less time spent jumping through flaming hoops to get back into your pb account and navigating the minefield of ads and broken buttons the better. XD (*hits the deny button so hard my hand breaks through the panel and into the wall behind*) It won't be in my DA as this was one of those rando doodles I posted on the 'bloids! XD Go get your dinner, either way. I have a feeling this'll take a while to find. I have a massive dusty collection of random doodles from across the years all stuffed into several folders. XD Totally IC. He'd be a superstar only rivaled in outrageousness by Jem herself! Y'know, Klavier and Edgeworth are even rockin' the same colour schemes. Big porple coats with black clothing underneath. Hmm... *scratches chin* EDIT: I couldn't find it, so here's a quick recreation:

KillixYeaah, I should get to doing it. I just... really don't want to. xD (What else is new with me lately.) Well, dinner-making took entirely too long for what was basically "throw everything into the crockpot and press start, and then wash some dishes so you don't hate life more later." I should've done the prepwork earlier. xD But I'm back. The other steps won't take nearly so long once it's time for the next steps. Sorry you couldn't find the thing, but recreation sounds good! And pff, yes. xD Denying it so hard it's basically your superpower. Side effects may include infrustructural damage and acts of violence against the object of your love. By the way, you're being sued for all of those damages. Anyway, litigations aside, yeah, can't beat Jem on that! xD Dang, with such color schemes... Dangit, now my brain's coming up with all sorts of conspiracy theories on the matter. xD "They're twins! Doesn't matter if they don't look alike, they don't have to be blood related! Or the same age! Or, maybe they're not twins. Maybe it's a style they picked up together. ;D Nevermind that they have nothing in common!" Someone tell it to stop. xD (Or Capcom really wanted to do another Edgeworth without making an Edgeworth.)

Gelquie Aw. Well, the final step (eating the foodz) is also the most important step. 8D and you can take as long as you want with that one! :D Oh no, those are side-effects?? What should I do, doctor?? D8 Please I can't secretly love Klavier! I'm supposed to still be salty about how he stole all of the important gameplay in Apollo Justice - the only AA game I actually own. and that I had to listen to his dumb character theme like 50 times in one court session. actually, that was my favourite case in the game, but...and how the franchise never resolved Kristoph's character arc/story/backstory!! (okay that's not Klavier's fault, but-) Wait- I'm being sued??? Oh no, I'd better call my lawyer. Appollo, apparently. and if Edgeworth doesn't make it as a rockstar, I think he has a future in DJ-ing. (I was looking through my DA XD) I think they're related for sure, it's going to be the biggest twist in all of Ace Attorney so far. Spoilers for AA7: Kristoph was Edgeworth all along. They're the same person. This makes sense somehow, no need to question it! (Yeah, that's probably it. Playin' it safe with character designs. XD Edgeworth was one of THE most popular characters at the time they created AJ and its all-new cast of characters. I think Klavier's design was um, Edgeworth'd up just a little so he wouldn't be seen as a replacement scrappy like Apollo was)

KillixTrue; once it's done. xD (I'm sadly convinced that it's not cooking evenly. Or I'm just being impatient.) Well, not entirely; I don't want it to go bad on me. (It's supposed to last a few days.) But for daily meals, yes. xD Oh dear... Oh dear, this is worse than I thought. See, I'd normally say that if you want to stave off feelings of love for someone, you tell yourself every bad thing about the person, every reason you might be incompatible. I might suggest talking to them to help accomplish this by seeing the incompatibilities yourself, but obviously you can't quite do that with fictional characters. If you've done all those things and you still secretly love him... I... I'm sorry. It's terminal. (Though yes, I am still very curious about the backstory there. xD Maybe the vagueness was intentional, and perhaps kinda works there. But ever since we figured out what that One Thing was, I've grown more curious. xD ) (I'm also reminded that I've been meaning to replay AJ, and this conversation does put me in the mood for it... But... *Stares at my workload and all my current stresses.* Aaagh, I can't justify it. ='D Yes; if Klavier if your prosecutor, you can only have Apollo defend you. On the plus side, it probably means you're going to get off scot-free! ...But on the downside, it means they'll probably find out about your secret love first to declare you innocent. xDD True that! The biggest most unexpected twist! Not even Kristoph expected it! (Maybe that was the big secret.) (Yeah, I notice they tend to do that. xD I also notice they tend to try to make rivalries with the different attornies/backstories that try to recapture that Phoenix-Edgeworth vibe that's so popular. With mixed results. (Although, I do like the Athena-Blackquill one, but that one also doesn't capture the same mood. I guess that's the thing though; that's not a bad thing. xD Although I'll give them credit for the Klavier one. I didn't notice the color scheme copying until you pointed it out to me. So maybe it was subtle enough to work? ...Or I'm just dense. xD )

GelquieNo no, you see I can *reaches for Nintendo DS and flicks the switch* *nothing happens, of course* Oh right, it's been dead for years. Well, at least I can suffer alongside you. 8D For you were the one who was picturing him shirtless as his official character design. That's gotta be worth at least 1000 points of something. (It's a shame because I find the Gavin bros dynamic very interesting. I want to know moar... but I think they're gonna leave Kristoph's whole deal vague and unexplained. crai. Prove me wrong, Capcom!!) Curse you, workload! *flips table* ... Oops, sorry, lemme get all that for you. Oh no, you're right. If Apollo is my attorney and Klavier is prosecuting me, then Apollo won't get to do anything. o_o;; At least I'll be declared Not Guilty in the easiest most hand-holdy way possible! :D (Yeaah. One of my minor complaints with the series is how they create a new prosecutor each game and then proceed to never use them ever again. XP Klavier and Blackquill get a few cameos every-so-often, but that's it. It's a shame because Blackquill is the best character and deserves better. and I am totally not biased at all. >_> <_<) Obvs I only noticed it because I stare longingly at Klavier so much. There are plenty of things I miss, but character designs always seem to pop out to me the most. Maybe it has something to do with how I've drawn some of the AA characters so many times? After a while, colour patterns like that are impossible to unsee. XD

KillixAww D= I'd help you fix it if I could. That would be a nice sentiment, but shirtless people have never gotten to me like that. xD For me, it's always felt a little over the top. Mainly because of all the instance where people fawn over shirtless guys and I'm just "okay, yes, that is certainly a guy without a shirt," so the difference is very stark to me, so I associate the image with over-the-top matters. xD I think I pictured that in my mind because I was exaggerating his extra-ness in my mind at the moment. Basically, alas, I cannot help you with company here. </3 (Honestly, yeah, I'd love to explore more relationship dynamics like that. Because that sort of trope very much intrigues me when it's done well. And I do feel like they were onto something there. But alas. </3 And alas, I think they're gonna leave it unexplained too.) *Flips all the tables!* ...Oops, my workload was on those. -- Bright side! =D (Yeaah, I feel that. xD; I feel they could explore these prosecutors more. I recall the reason they used a different prosecutor for the 2nd game was because if Edgeworth kept losing, the director was worried Edgeworth would've been portrayed as incompetent. But I feel there are other ways that they've implemented to avoid that. Especially since they've long since gotten past the point of "it's not win-or-lose, it's about finding answers and determining the fate of a person's life." Maybe they feel they gotta add Something New, but at the same time they want to play some things safe. Also, yes, agreed, Blackquill is a great character. I wish AA5 wasn't so easy; otherwise it might well have been one of my top AA games. xD ) xDD Ahh, yeah, that might do it. xD Meanwhile, I don't practice art (despite someone saying I should after seeing what I did with one thing, and maybe they're right, but I wouldn't know where to begin or how to find the time), so I'm more likely to miss these things.

GelquieI tease, of course. Shirtlessness has no effect on me, either. XD but I do see such designs as stereotypically eye-rolly fanservice. It only comes off as super showy and ridiculous if a character's strutting around half-dressed and super inappropriate for their line of work (especially if QUALITY is involved. "yeaahh, look at my 8-pack!"), but it can also be hilarious. After all, the hawtest characters have irresistible... personalities. ;D -- At least they gave a good reason for why Edgeworth doesn't prosecute any more - the others (minus spoilers) have no excuse to be benched! Really, the only way to have the prosecutors win is to have the defendant be Guilty. Otherwise it's a game over for whoever you're playing as. XD and even then, that's something that's been done already. Hmm, yeahh, though I don't blame them for playing safe; They tried that weird time travel flashback machine... thing... in AJ and it was confusing and awful. (Please don't do that again, Capcom) I did the no-playthrough run of AA5 (I watched it via a no-commentary Let's Play on youtube XD), and it did seem to be on EZ WINS mode. The story was top notch, though. except that ending ajkkajgjjkdkss *continues mashing face into keyboard sorrowfully* Oops, well I'd better go to bed now. It's getting late here and my coffee fuel has run out. 'night!

KillixHooray; we're immune! *High-fives!* Though of course, you're the one who dreamed it. xD But yeah, I find it ridiculous too. xD (That only helps the ridiculousness. xDD ) But yeah, for me, it's just a sign of humor. Or we're both in denial; oh no!;D -- Yeah, Edgeworth's got a good reason. But the rest... I mean, I guess there can be more than one prosecutor and the attorney happens to run into different ones. Don't really want a case of "we only have one prosecutor ever. They get no vacations because they're too busy dealing with a case every week." But in terms of character development... yeaaah. And yeah, true. xD It can be hard to balance practicality with game mechanics sometimes. Yeaah, that was... poorly implemented. I'm half convinced that the only way you could proceed with one aspect of it would be to time travel. Yeaah, it was. ='D I'd like, figure out most of it well into the case, and you can't show it, and you need to wait for everyone to have their emotional reactions, and then when it's finally time to present, your assistant gives you THE most obvious hint. But yes, I did like the story a lot. Including the ending, although I'll admit it got over-the-top after a while. xD; Good night!

Gelquie"but who can decide what they dream? and dream I do..." I thankfully did not have follow-up last night, so I think I'm safe. Whew. Halloween just ended, I don't need to be haunted by hawt lawyers! -- At this point they have enough prosecutors to cycle through them all with little trouble. XD A little lacking on defense attorneys, but since they're the playable characters it's less jarring. Every new game just ends up being like "Hi, my name is newcharacter and I'll be prosecuting all of the cases this season! :D" I think now's the time for them to slow down and focus on some of the characters they have that didn't get a trilogy's worth of character development. XD It was an impressive simulation, I have to say. So high tech that you somehow can physically gather evidence from the past, and present it to people in the past from the future! :D Haha, yeah, everything was so plainly telegraphed. AA5's moments of THIS IS A HINT, PAY ATTENTION I'LL SAY IT AGAIN were even worse than in AJ, I think. They really really didn't want you to miss any of their clever plot points. XP stop hepling me!!Oh, I have no issue with the hammyness or how the story actually ended from a plot perspective, I'm just salty because... uh *insert spoilers here*

KillixxD Point taken. Yay for being safe! Though I suppose if you had to be haunted, you could have worse hauntings. -- Yeah, they probably could. xD But they need more prosecutors to eke tragic backstories out of!Though yeaah, there are so few defense attornies. But hey, maybe we'll get another one. xDD Pretty much! And yeah, that could be cool. xD There's always more to explore with a character. I don't necessarily mind new ones. But... when they did bring back a character there wasn't enough focus on before, that was nice. The most high tech! Just attach the word "quantum" to it and it'll explain everything. Yeaah. They really weren't going at it with subtlety. ='D At least they eased off a bit on the difficulty level in AA6. Or at least gave you the option to take it or not. Hmm... Well, it's hard to talk about without discussing spoilers. xD Feel free to sidechat me about it sometime.

GelquieAh yes. AA6 didn't hand-hold like the games before it - instead it just made the cases drag on forever. 8D I wasn't even playing and the last case exhausted me. Apollo: Uhh, can I save now? Game: NOPE, WE GOT 15 MORE MINUTES OF UNSKIPPABLE SCENES TO GO THROUGH. 8D Apollo: Noooo!

KillixOh gosh, yess, so much. ='D It was like. Ace Attorney Investigations 1 level of dragging on forever, except it was for entire cases. The last trial of AA6 alone took me 8 hours. Poor Apollo. Not for the stuff he went through; for the case fatigue. I have a few complaints about AA6 regarding that and how they handled the plot in some cases, but I can't discuss those without discussing spoilers. xD

GelquieI never played or watched AAI, so I can only liken its length to 1-5. Like, if you played 1-5 three times in a row.... but longer than that. 8 hours, wow you really sped through!I went and looked at the playlist for the SoJ Let's Play that I watched, and the final case clocked in at 14 hours. That's with the LPer immediately choosing all of the right answers and making no mistakes or wasting time. XD The only thing I can say that maybe made it go a little slower than some might have played it was how they didn't speed up text so viewers had time to read, but that's it. Sweet bananallama what a marathon of a case. Poor Apollo in general. He's not allowed to be happy. XD He's the designated punching bag, the pinata of Ace Attorney's universe. Yeaah. AA is a spoiler minefield due to its nature as a visual novel with emphasis on unravelling mysteries. Near impossible to really talk about it while also dodging major spoilerage. :'D If we want to level up the discussion, I think the best bets are on the Ace Attorney club board with spoiler boxes firmly attached. (or hit me up on discord, either one is good XD) Unfortunately the franchise is not all that fresh in my mind as some of the games I haven't played/watched/thought about in yearrrs. o_o;; but hey, maybe this is an opportunity to revisit it. ;D
