Hey all! If you haven't posted in the Time Capsules already and are inclined to, today is the last day to do so. ^^

Goodbye time capsules!
Tomorrow I say goodbye to our cockerel Francis. He's going to a good home, but I'll be sad to separate him from his current friendos! And I'll miss him, he's a sweet timid boy. He's going to stay with a lady in a rural area who takes in lots of homeless little critters, and all her chickens died recently except for one hen, so he won't be alone!

Hey, doesn't have to be a bad thing ;D It's funny, for as much as the responsibility can be some time, I actually really enjoy being an adult. I even remember looking forward to being one growing up- I think I just really wanted to call my own shots and not go to school xD

Honestly, same here, at least when it comes to the actual act of being an adult. It's nice to be able to do your own things and be Responsible! And I get to make my own choices, rather than parents who may either be off or veto something for reasons that don't make sense even with explanation. xD
While this weekend was busy, I have had fun with it! My new apartment feels nice, I got a nice but affordable mattress all set up, and a bunch of furniture, and I managed to get a bunch of them cheap! (Tip: Try yard sales. They're super cheap.) And I even set a bunch of stuff up!
...Although, it is tiring, and my right wrist is hurting for it. So I should theoretically take a break. ...But I got stuff to do. >>;
...But besides that! Being an adult isn't so bad. I'm starting to at least act more like what kid!me thought 30-year-old me would look like. (Some of the dressed-like too! Although sorry little!me, I might tweak the hair. I'm not having the same hairstyle at 30 that I had when I was 5. >> Also, not gonna be blond. Kid version of me couldn't have known it would darken, though.)

Omg yeah, not having to worry about parental permission or oversight is probably the best part xD (except those times when they get nosy while calling or visiting with you >>)
That's good to hear the weekend was productive as well =D Whenever I hear moving stories, they always sound like a real hassle, but it sounds like you've made some good progress :3 (and ooh, good point yeah- thrift shopping is becoming my go-to >w>)
Hopefully you're able to get some good rest this week, both for yourself and your wrist!
Ooh yeah, I know what you mean. I feel like doing that can help the transition between childhood and adulthood, as it gives some guidance that is personal or meaningful to you and helps keep you from getting lost among the new responsibilities. (Aww, that's funny about the blond hair xD Definitely fair though about not fulfilling that 5-year-old hairstyle vision- I can't imagine if I still had the hair I did when I was younger xD)

Aaabsolutely! xD (Or that, yeah. My mom's actually fairly good about that, but maybe that's because she knows she has to balance things out the... other unreasonable side. >> ...Albeit part of it is just her to just leave things be unless it's dangerous or really damaging.)
Oh, they are a hassle! But I am making good progress, yes. =3 Though I still am having trouble finding a desk I like or even just a table for computer stuff. (Annoying thing is I actually did find one for a good price, but the seller didn't leave any contact information. >> ) (Yes. x3 I mean, sometimes it's "they threw this out for a reason," but sometimes someone just wanted to downsize or needed to move and it's otherwise perfectly fine.)
Thanks! Alas, the rest of this week will probably be mostly school. xD I don't wanna fall behind on work again, so I'm gonna try and be more on top of some of my work. We'll see. Unfortunately, I have a lot in that department too. Even had to miss a social event thing I wanted to go to, I was just that busy. Maybe it'll let up once a few things settle down, though. Or at least after I finish moving.
Ah yeah, true! For some reason, despite little!me being all into fantasy, their realistic vision of what I was like grown up was dressed in formal but comfortable wear and obviously off doing Very Important Things and being and acting Super Responsible, wow. Actually, little!me had a really neat mental image, and while I'm taking some liberties, it's actually pretty close to my idealizations. Because I've learned I do like wearing semi-formal wear when I'm doing work-stuff, because it can be comfortable and I like how it looks on me. But yeah, no, not doing the hair. xD
(xD For me, my hairstyle hasn't changed that much, though I did experiment a little bit more when I was younger. I guess I'm experimenting still, but in different ways. Actually, I've never quite felt 100% that my hair suited me, no matter the style. Sometimes it would for a while, and then "nah." Or something would, but then some brain thing would come up and I'd be all "not that either...". But I don't wanna spend forever on it either.
Anyway, little!me's version of my hairstyle would be easy enough to pull off, but I hate bobs and don't think it suits me, so. xD )

r.e. adulting: I like being able to buy chocolate whenever I want. xP The best part!
I do love thrift shopping very much and dressing to my own tastes, too! Agree with that part, although I'm still exploring and working out my tastes and that's an adventure in itself.
Kid me was blonde too, Gelquie! I imagined myself as a Cool Successful Author with lots of fans...little me was pretty humble...also wanted to be an actor haha.
My hairstyle has changed a lot, I had it grown down to my mid-back or longer most of my childhood/teenage life! Now the sides and back are short and it's a little longer and curly on top. I finally bought some product today (more hours at work and so more money, woo!) so I can style it a bit and play up the contrast. I can't imagine I'll grow my hair long again, but once I get sick of an undercut I might get it back to like a short curly bob, cos I like how that looks too (yay for naturally springy hair!)

So I counted up all the events I hosted around here, and asked the mods what counted and what didn't. Ended up with seven events hosted, one Spring Cleaning and six NT collabs.
Somehow, guys, I ended up being a master of events.

Congrats June! <3 I ran Spirit Weeks twice, so I would just be a Project Leader myself. Master of Events is the coolest name, congrats on the new title!

Hey Bloids! How are you? I can't seem to log into Discord, when I open the program, all I get is a big grey blank square, no matter how long I wait ;-; Is it down for anyone else? Either way, I guess any excuse is a good excuse to come say hi on the forum! Hiiii!
