I'm almost afraid to look at what's happening to Codestone prices. Yeah, I think I'm going to start selling my Codestones, Dubloons, and BD equipment now that everyone is excited about a battling event coming up and people will start training/upgrading equipment.

The Xweetok's design looks like my favorite artist on the site drew it. Guess they weren't laid off, whoever they were.

I have a theory that when you look at the new Avatar, you are not seeing a wraith at the end, but a very tinkled off Yooyu. I won't say Yooyu ball because that offends him. He is very intelligent and he would have loved to play for the cup, but no, he got rejected. He was too little or didn't meet regulations. So as he brooded he decided to ally himself with dark forces to take over Neopia. A Yooyu would be the perfect enemy because no one would expect it. Yooyu are one of the most intelligent species of petpet. They are very tough and literally love getting batted around. Not every Yooyu gets selected to play for the Altador cup, which means some get rejected. That rejection must hurt and at least one of them might be hurt enough to want to cause problems for all Neopia.
When one is rejected, sometimes it isn't hard to find others who are also feeling this way. If the motivation is there and the power and resources, then anyone could potentially be the enemy.
I would love to see a Yooyu become the enemy. Take something we normally like and turn it on everyone. It would be unexpected. Everyone is expecting it to be a pet or a faerie or even Dr Sloth. So as everyone runs around looking for clues, they might even walk past a Yooyu ball without any thought.
All he would have to do is act confused or lost then the worst that would happen is they would try to find the owner or return it to Altador to the Yooyu pit or something.
Just look at the avatar again and at that creepy little smiling thing that pops up at the end. It just reminds me of when a Yooyu pops up at the cup. Only this one doesn't want to play with you.

I'm starting to think this proclamation is just going to stick around, a cliffhanger until the plot kicks off in November when Scrappy said it would.

The face does seem a bit odd if its suppose to be a Wraith. JS has drawn plenty of Wraith Neopets so they know what a Wraith is suppose to look like, at least in the face. The Wraith's in the new theme look more Wraith-y than the one in the Avatar.

I wish that there was something clickable on the deserted faerie festival screen besides the wanted notice. Like a close up on an object to interact with, or a new character dialogue/quest such as, "Go there … and find this to bring back to me".
If we had a clue/trail to follow, then we would be able to find out who the culprit is, and more of the plot story would enfold.

It could be one of those 'new steps every 3 days' kinda things.

So some stuff from this Editorial I think relates to this upcoming plot: Aside from being silly, I wonder if Scrappy threw this in to deny Xandra has anything to do with the upcoming plot. "Could she maybe be trying to throw us off?" No point, if that was her goal saying nothing would have been better. If it turns out Xandra is involved, people will be less likely to take her words on things, at least for this plot. So if you want to change the theme you can, which is nice as it served its shock purpose so no need to keep it up (they can just activate it again when they do a plot update). Also a few users are latching onto the word "betrayal". Is there a betrayer among the Faeries who caused this to happen? Is it another Faerie? Why, especially if it's another Faerie? How do the Wraiths factor in?

New dialogue is up! WAS THAT THE YURBLE FOREMAN? I mean it probably wasn't, but still.

New dialogue is up! WAS THAT THE YURBLE FOREMAN? I mean it probably wasn't, but still. Those were my thoughts too! I mean it certainly *looked* like the Yurble foreman, but seeing as he didn't seem all that... angry about the situation, who knows?

Angry Yurble: "Fyora! I have information on the culprit!"
Fyora: "That's all well and good, but please put some clothes on..."

I wonder what the angry janitor was doing in Faerieland if he's from Altador …
Haha it was a nice allusion to the Altador Plot. I liked the structure of finding constellations that corresponded with each statue, and checking in with the astronomy club leader was pretty funny.

Well he also a librarian in Brightvale during the Faeries' Ruin so he gets around. At this point I call him the Yurble Jobber.

It's more of a 'this is a plot!' callout than an explicit reference to the Altador Plot. The Janitor or someone related to him has cropped up in every major site event since the Lost Desert Plot.
