I want to write a story starring a leprechaun, but there aren't any neopets or petpets that resemble one. Suggestions?
Please help!
best regards,
Jeht

Perhaps a red-headed rainbow pet or a rainbow petpet, to go with the whole "pot of gold at the end of a rainbow" thing? Wikipedia says they're technically a type of faerie, so some sort of faerie petpet might be a good one. A Carmariller really strikes me as an interesting one to use for some reason. A Candychan might also be to your interest, since they're a little more humanoid - though they do have strong Terror Mountain connections.

My first thought was maybe the protagonist could be an Earth faerie instead. Tiger's idea is awesome too, a faerie petpet could be great for it too!

Honestly, if you think about how customization works, you can dress up any neopet to look like a leprechaun, like, I'm pretty sure there's the wearables for it and everything. So then, any type of Neopet you wanted could become a leprechaun.

Pets can wear clothes, so why not have a Green coloured pet that has Clover/Shamrock related clothing? In fact, just looking at Jellyneo's Item Database, I see a few items (mainly from the NC Mall) that would probably fit what you're looking for (like the Sparking Green Top Hat)

Sweet- Yeah I found the customization stuff really nice! I am still looking at what neopet or petpet I want the character to be. I like candychan. I have looked into psimouse just because I might be able to pull it off. I found a Weebly in my research and that might be interesting. Other suggestions or affirmations?
Thank you!

Depends - why do you want to write a leprechaun? Do you want to stay close to original Irish lore? Is it for the aesthetic, for magical abilities, for personality traits? Some of these things are more adaptable than others. The only leprechaun-themed thing I found on the site is an Usuki set. (Are you actually going to use the word leprechaun to refer to your character in your story?)

I want to use a leprechaun because I want to hint at the lore. I don't plan on writing the word leprechaun until the end and only using it once. I guess I would like it more aesthetic than anything

There's nothing really explicit against it in the rules, vampires and ghosts are canon in Neopia at least, and there is a werewolf equivalent, and that canon leprechaun Usuki set... But such a subtle reference seems like it should pass, really! (Does anyone here know better than me? >.>)
