I went to check the Clubhouse, and it turns out that there already is a Star Wars fanclub — that was last updated in 2010 So the question becomes: perform necromancy, or create a new board? @anymod which would be preferable? ( Huntress maybe because I see you online) My online-ness is tricky business to trust because I've this (somewhat stupid) habit of dinking around on my phone in the morning before getting up to make coffee xD Although hey, if it makes for better visible mod-coverage. My general stance on threadmaking would be "we're not running out of space so might as well make a new thread", reason being that reviving an old one tends to get confusing when people don't look at timestamps and start replying to ancient posts made by people who aren't around any more. Plus, looking at the old clubthread, there wasn't much actual discussion going on there anyway.

Right now it's either bran or a bowl of Star Wars cereal for me, heh.
That sounds more fun anyway! But I'm tired and even writing normal talkery replies is making my brain shout "NOOOOOOOOOOOO", so maybe somebody else should create the thread. If anyone is online- if not, I may end up doing that during my own 'dinking around' time tomorrow. =P Thanks Hunty!

Oh maaan yeees, this movie. This movie. It revived so many feelings, it's crazy. My brother is a die hard Star Wars fanboy and he brainwashed me as a kid - it took us weeks to convince his girlfriend to watch episode VII, but then she did and now she's crazy about it too! Star Wars wins everytime! Yaaay! I agree with you guys on the Rey Skywalker theory - it is indeed the most likely relation. These people are all marked by fate! XD I've came across this very funny post on tumblr about Chewbacca and his experience with the Skywalkers. He was there in the Clone Wars and saw how Anakin went wrong, he was by Luke's side when he fixed everything. So, when Kylo Ren was born, he probably just though, "oh wow, can't wait what goes wrong with you." The guy probably knows about Rey's past as well since he's always there. Shady Chewie keeps the cards to himself. XP ....About Kylo Ren...hm, there's something I wanna ask. XD One of my cousins proposed a very bold turn for the character and I wanna know if you'd like to see it, or if it'd be a terrible, horrible decision. XD I'm really big fan of Adam Driver as a comediant, and I was blown away with his performance in a more dramatic role as Kylo Ren. So I'm pretty happy with things as they are, but my cousin said that when Kylo Ren first revealed his face in the movie he was expecting Hayden Christensen himself or someone with a striking resemblance. Then everyone would be like "holy cow, the force and the genes are strong in this one". If that had happened, how would you feel? Good, bad, lame, cool? Thoughts?
If I haven't ever seen Driver as Ren, then I'd say I wouldn't mind that. I just really dig these strong family bonds that - as has been previously said - are taken so seriously by the franchise. But. I dunno. My judgement has never been the sharpest. XD
The only thing I'd ever change about Driver's character is his outburts of rage - I actually love how hot-headed he is. But in my head, it'b be cooler if when he got angry, instead of slashing out his lightsaber, things around him started breaking apart and the lights flickered because of his conection with the force. Then while everything bursts into flames around him, he'd just stand still there clenching his fists.
