EDGEY SMEDGEY AND PEENIX by which I mean yo PeffaShe giggled and patted him on the shoulder. "It's likely. If they show up at all." *instinctively flinches back a moment, but then relaxes and groans a little to himself* ...I don't like the sound of that "if".

I did work here and do great things, but— HI CHLOE But everyone you helped is dead or gone now! /encouraging ...That is not remotely encouraging. I mean, to be fair, some of the people we helped were already dead...

Those people are dead and gone! I did work here and do great things, but— HI CHLOE YO YO YO Edgey it's been way too long, lemme ruffle your hair Swash: We can hope for the best. So what have you been doing in my absence...? Swash: I've been stuck fighting legal battles, which are the worst sort. Especially when the judges and jury are the prosecution. That's a good point. Those people are dead and gone! ...Ugh. YO YO YO Edgey it's been way too long, lemme ruffle your hair Please don't. Time to make new friends!

(I'll toss this idiot in while I slowly type HW) A bizzare fellow sat, lounging in the square, waiting for someone to walk by.
"Why is it so warm in February...."

(I have no idea if this'll be a recurrent thing, but I figure it won't hurt to give it a shot.) Down an otherwise wide, empty street, a small figure approaches. It doesn't make a sound as it nears, keeping to the shadows at the edges of buildings. As it comes into view, it leaps onto the edge of a large ornamental fountain, revealing itself in the sunlight to be a male snowshoe cat. He bats at the water in the fountain with a paw, soaking the fur of the appendage, then brings up said paw to lap the water out of. He seems inattentive to its surroundings, but the occasional flicker of a dark red-brown ear gives lie to this notion. The cat purrs softly as he reaches down into the fountain for another dab of water.

"Why is it so warm in February...." A bundle of coats happened to be walking past, and answered his question. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT'S FREEZING! WHIPERSNAPPERS DON'T KNOW WHAT HEAT IS THESE DAYS!" (I have no idea if this'll be a recurrent thing, but I figure it won't hurt to give it a shot.) Down an otherwise wide, empty street, a small figure approaches. ((Cuitie! *chucks dice* 1-12)) A four-legged six-limbed robot entered the area casually, and regarded the cat with mild interest. A human-ish face was attached to the front of the chassis. The face was feminine with unnaturally smooth and perfect skin. The mark of a red star on the cheek was the only flaw in their symmetry. The Scrac that Smiles BackFAUST: Your "charity" is a scam. Let me fix that for you. You're a con artist that takes money that could be spent to real charities. Nobody should be giving you money. Give to the Green Circle of Heraclia or something, not this disgusting excuse for a human being. *puts up sign listing real charities* Wait, is Oak Tree even human? There was no one paying attention, no one even looking. He smiled and got up from his booth, coming around to meet the old woman. "Here," he offered his hand and spoke with a calm, warm tone, "may I see that vile?"

The face was feminine with unnaturally smooth and perfect skin. The mark of a red star on the cheek was the only flaw in their symmetry. The cat appeared at first to pay no mind to the robot, more invested in righting his balance as he came up with another pawful of water from the fountain. A surreptitious glance out of slit-pupiled blue eyes gives him away, however. After a moment the cat yawns, jumping down from the edge of the foundtain and padding towards the newcomer, mouth parted and flews pulled back in what appears to be a scowl. Those versed in animal behavior, however, would recognize the expression as the flehmen response. The cat appears wary, keeping a safe distance as he takes in the robot's scent.
