Celestial, you can use baby Aveline all you like. To everyone else, I've been very sick, I'm still not well, and I'm not sure when I'll be back. Sorry if you're waiting on me for anything. Aw, sorry to hear that Kristy. D= I hope you're feeling better soon!

ZylaaCongrats on the move! I remember the first time I moved everything I owned fit in my car. The second time not so much. Thanks! Yeeeah, I am well past that stage now. I got everything I owned down in two of my family's cars during the last move, but I'm gonna be moving furniture this time. Thorn--Thanks!

I always thought that crying while chopping onions was one of those cliches that's greatly exaggerated in fiction compared to how it is in real life.
Today, I learned that I was wrong.

Onions pwn my eyes so hard. One time my parents decided to juice a whole bag of onions for reasons still unknown to me. I walked into the kitchen and was immediately blinded by the vapours.

Sheeeeesh. ._. I was only using one onion, and I thought that was bad enough! Weird thing is that I like the onion flavor, but not the onion itself. My grandfather assured me that if I chopped the onion up into really, really fine pieces, that I wouldn't even notice it in the homemade rice pilaf I made today. (And he was right, I didn't) It actually turned out pretty good, but I'm not sure if I'd be willing to burn my eyes off again. XD

The stinging was so intense that I couldn't even open my eyes. I actually had to run upstairs to the bathroom and wash them out. XD I'm not a fan of raw onions, but I really like caramelized onions. I get cravings for them sometimes, so I chop up a whole onion or two and throw it all in a frying pan. 99% of the time I murder my eyes doing so. Nothing like having a big bowl of onions for dinner, though. :'D

I really like onions, but I have to minimize how much I eat, alas.
And yes, if I spend too long chopping onions, they will pwn my eyes. xD

Onions are pretty good cooked. I squint when I cut them- I think it helps with the watery eyes, but it may all be in my head. Packing to go to my parent's for a month =D Cool thing or an "oh no why" thing? Sheeeeesh. ._. I was only using one onion, and I thought that was bad enough! That reminds me of the time my dad was preparing dried ghost peppers in the blender and there was a pepper dust cloud in the kitchen. I walked by and immediately fled. I understand why India is making "chili grenades" with said type of pepper >_>;

As far as onions go, one thing that really helps (though doesn't cut out all the crying) is putting a spoon in your mouth as you cut onions. I have no idea how it works, but it does.
