I wanna see it so bad! Though I don't know if I'll be able to see it in theaters, I don't often get a chance to go to the movies. But hopefully I can work something out.

I might see it opening night if some friends are going. The trailers don't exactly have me -excited- for it, but just like most of their other movies, Disney is the worst at making trailers. XD So we'll see.

I've been looking forward to this movie since we saw the trailer when guardian of the galaxy came out. A friend and I are planning on seeing it together but since we are located on opposite sides of the our state, it may have to wait until Thanksgiving Break.

I'm probably gonna end up liking this one more than Frozen and Tangled. I liked those well enough, but I liked Wreck-It Ralph more than either of them, so I'll probably end up liking this one more, as well. It's probably because the non-fairy tale ones they've been making lately (Like Wreck-It Ralph) just gel better with my tastes.

I liked Frozen and Tangled but I do agree, the non-fairy tales recently created by Disney have been off the chart. The jokes in Wreck-It Ralph were phenomenal! I'm hoping for a lot of the jokes with a combination of Olaf's adorableness.

Saw the movie today. I thought it was pretty good. I thought it had a nice mix of things in it. And it was fun comparing it to what I've read about the original Marvel comic. There were also a few nice Marvel easter eggs in it.
By the way, stay until the END OF THE CREDITS. The theater I was in, everyone took off a few seconds into the credits and missed the end scene.
Edit: Oh, and the animation before the movie, Feast, was cute XD
Edit2: Forgot, they gave out posters.

Saw the movie last night, and had some time to mull over it. I really liked it. It had some good humorous, poking fun at superhero tropes or the usual "this robot doesn't understand sarcasm/metaphor" type thing. I definitely laughed a few times, and smiled most of the rest. The action was exciting, and the visuals were REALLY good, even if the setting was just an Asian skin painted over San Francisco (let's make all the signs neon and Japanese, and we're good). I'm really glad the storyline dealt with more personal issues than just a standard "superheroes fight baddie of the week" scenario, which makes me much less hopeful for any future sequels (and this will probably definitely get sequels). There were a few things that I didn't care for, like the really clunky exposition dialogue in the beginning. Like "remember when you did X at age Y?" (where X is a huge life moment, so of COURSE they remember, this was just for the audience) bad. And there were a couple of plot holes that were really integral to the storyline, so those bothered me, like: Did the professor really set the building on fire? In the flashback it looked like he put on the microbot headband in a "Oh crap!" moment as everything burned around him.
ALSO why did he set the building on fire to steal these microbots?? Hiro was gonna enroll in the school like TOMORROW, so just have him turn them in as an assignment! Heck, get Hiro to give you detailed schematics so you can grade them! He totally could've faked a few of those things getting stolen. There were a zillion of them lying around in piles in the auditorium. But there were parts that I REALLY appreciated, like how none of the female characters was a love-interest. There wasn't any romance in the story at all. And I love how most everyone on the team were nerds. Hiro was a pretty likeable character with a decent arc, and Baymax was -adorable-.

Thinking about it, I sort of agree with that plothole issue XD

I watched this with some friends just the other day. Gosh, we are so far behind you guys in terms of movie releases! xD
I agree with the general consensus- no love interest/the females getting to be more than love interests was nice, and I found the movie so adorable. But now that you bring it up, that plot hole is gonna drive me crazy. 0.o
Our group's overall favourite appears to have been Fred. Which I'm totally all goods with, he was probably my favourite as well, with the possible exception of Honey...whatever her name was, I could never remember it.
EDIT: HONEY LEMON that's who I meant.
