the newbie needs direction

*sigh* okay... okay... there's a lot to distract me here. What else can I say? *shrug*

Anyway.... I'm having a great time looking around. Can't wait to get to know some of you. What I'm currently wondering is where the appropriate place to post a short story that's been rejected for containing a real world geography/person/event. Or something like that -- I accidentally got rid of the neomail. But for the life of me, I can't figure out what's throwing it out. I'd like to ask somebody here for help or advice, but not sure whether to post it in - Issues Previews and Reviews,  - Work Reviews and Advice, or some other thread altogether. Could someone please direct me to the nearest signpost? Thanks in advance!

Work Reviews and Advice is the best place. Issues: Previews and Reviews is for finished stuff, Work Reviews and Advice is for works in progress.

You can post it up in Work, Reviews, and Advice! ^__^ That's generally where threads soliciting feedback go-- Previews & Reviews is more for reviews of stories that are already published in this week's issue of the NT.

Well, one should always be prepared for sudden Err Bear attacks. You never know when they'll strike!

and if they don't, that confetti gun is always great for starting parties.
