I need some advice. I'm running low on space so I'm thinking of getting an external hard drive. The thing is, I'm not sure how much space I need. I tend to download anime and toku in the forms of MKVs, AVIs, and MP4s a lot so that's what most of my space goes towards. Does anyone know of any cheaper external hard drives that can hold a decent amount of space? I've tried looking into 1TB externals within my price range (basically $100 or less) but I'm not sure which ones are good or not.

When trying to decide between similar items, I often look at the reviews. Some of the cheaper drives tend to be prone to failing quickly, and the reviews will point that out. Other than that, name brands/bigger brands tend to be pretty safe and reliable when it comes to storage devices. Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba... stuff like that.
