It's kind of a weird question, but most of us have inner voices we use for our characters. For example, Sirocco sounds sorta like Harry Connick Jr.; Hunter sounds like Orlando Bloom (Thanks, coaster!); Ashlynne speaks in a soft, breathy English accent; and Miraja has a standard American accent. She also talks pretty fast (especially when she's angry or excited)!

Oh, interesting question. Let's grab four of the main characters from Ballad of the Faerie's Champion and do some poking around on IMDB.
Gary would probably have a high-ish male voice, somewhat gravelly but also quiet. In earlier stories he talks with a pronounced low-class accent, but this fades with time as he studies to improve his grammar. Derek Stephen Prince comes to mind, the actor who I know best for his role as Oswald in Odin Sphere, but you guys may remember better for playing Ken Ichijouji in Digimon or Uryu Ishida in bleach.
Rue, the aisha who's Gary's best friend, would also have a rather high voice, but one more smooth and loud to match his cheerful and mischievous personality. He's even worse then Gary for using slang and abbreviating words, and this is something he never bothers to try and improve. Best comparison I can get is Todd Haberkorn, the voice of Firo from Baccano and Allen from D-Grayman, among others.
Ayame I imagine with a cultured, gentle, low pitched female voice. Can't really think of a good actor to compare to off the top of my head. Deep female voices tend to be cast in militaristic roles, which isn't the voice type I imagine for her.
And though he hasn't shown up in-story yet, there's Xeln... in Stagnation he's still a young kid, and would have a kid's voice. By Junction he's fifteen, so a young teenage voice that's just starting to break, so it pitches up and down at semi-random intervals. As an adult I imagine him with a surprisingly deep voice; not baritone by any stretch, but still not a voice one could ever attach to a child character and get away with it. As a child his speech is loose and informal, but over time he adopts a more scholarly vocabulary as befitting an intellectual of Brightvale.

I don't think I actually consider it that much. 0_o; Accordingly, I'll go in order of most to least thought about.
Hoshea seems to consistently have a New York accent and somewhat raspy/gravelly voice, but ranges somewhere between baritone and tenor depending on mood (when he's trying to sound tough versus when he's flustered or embarrassed, for example).
Loange has the voice of a younger teenager, sorta upper-mezzo-soprano with a fairly standard American accent and pacing, and not particularly grating or smooth. (She does get a bit of a whine at times, though--"You made my mouth THAT big?!")
Izyl's accent is a bit like Orlando Bloom's (eg. in Pirates of the Caribbean or Lord of the Rings), but substantially less breathy and slightly less British. (But still slightly British for legitimate reasons.)
Talkie is kind of like a tenor/alto version of kid Simba from the Lion King ("I laugh in the face of danger, ha ha ha!") and of course with slightly darker tones; not really sure how else to describe it.
For Kougo, the best I can come up with is "kinda like Wheatley from Portal 2 meets Luke Skywalker from the original Star Wars trilogy". For comparison, kinda like Izyl's but without a hint of British accent.
Coaster's voice is kinda like a typical teenager's, but fairly clear and androgynous--early-puberty male, I guess--and a little theatrical at times, and again with a fairly standard American accent.
Going down, they're less likely to have a voice of their own and more likely to just use the voice of the narrator inside my head (which incidentally sounds a lot like Coaster, whose voice is so incredibly neutral and difficult to describe), so I had to piece most of them together upon seeing this thread and I may have to edit it if something more appropriate comes to mind. >_>

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who hears my characters' voices in my head. If I weren't a writer, that would be cause for concern. Adult Terra's voice is subdued and low with kind of a snarky edge, although she has a wider range when she's emoting. Young Terra just sounds quiet and shy and super unsure of herself. Standard American accent. Blynn sounds like a (slightly) less squeaky Pinkie Pie. She also has a standard American accent. I actually don't have a good voice pinned down for Pharazon yet. In my mind he really only vaguely sounds like some kind of not-very-testosterone-y young adult male. His voice probably gets high and squeaky when he's nervous and it's hilarious. I had been wavering back and forth on what kind of accent he has, and for a while he randomly was supposed to have a British accent because he was supposed to be scholarly and sophisticated, but he's not cool enough to pull that off, so the more I think about it the more I like him with an American accent. That would make more sense anyway, since he grew up in an American accent-speaking family. Mutant Hyren has about the most baritone voice you can imagine. Actually, as time has gone on I imagine him more and more as sounding like Sulley from Monsters, Inc. Which just makes him more endearing. He has an American accent in both his forms. Blue Hyren still sounds like a mature adult male, but his voice has more of a neutral depth as befitting his... truncated stature. It has a pretty grouchy, grumbly edge to it, though. Celice (Pharazon's friend who was in a two-parter series a while back and is showing up again in Worth Searching For) has an upper-class British accent and has the ability to sound very prim and proper, but when she's not being snippy or know-it-all her voice has a warm and gentle tone to it. Isengrim... sounds nothing like the Werelupe King in TDF. <.< His voice is a lot deeper and growlier and he has an archaic, Middle-Ages-esque English accent rather than the weird Cockney thing he had going on in the game. He's more imposing and intimidating this way. Every time I write/read dialogue for Suhel (his second-in-command), I can't hear it in any other voice than that of Amy Pond from Doctor Who. Scottish accent all the way. I don't know why it fits her but it just does. Also in Soviet Werelupe packs, Werelupes tell you who they sound like. There was one incidental character who totally sounded like Gimli in my head for the five-odd lines he had. That was fun. I went ahead and gave him that brogue in the manuscript. Because I knew I wouldn't have to write it for the entire story.

Orlando Bloom! That's who Hunter sounds like! Thanks for making things easier, Fella! Internet high-five?
