This was a warmup in my art class in preparation for a celebrity charcoal drawing. We replicated facial features so as to get a feel for recreating realistic details. The top eye is my reference picture, the bottom one of course being what I drew.
These are the Neopets on my old account, zuzi809. Out of nostalgia, I decided recreate them, as I haven't drawn any of them in years. I'm also considering reviving their characters in their old comic, Black and Blue, a series that didn't quite make it before.
This is the main cast of my most serious writing project, a book series starring cat characters. Oh yes, oh yes. I'm in the middle of coloring this picture, and I'll probably post on here when it's complete.

Also, chibi means small in Japanese. But, in art, it means super-deformed and refers to the cutesy stylized characters with small childlike bodies and large heads. Of course, there are a lot of styles of chibi just like anything, but those are usually the qualifications.
