I got the Pant Devil as a battledome challenger while organizing my gallery. Made me paranoid that he stole one of my gallery items. ;___;

I often wonder what happens /after/ a plot ends. Like, do these characters go back to the normal ho hum of life, or are they constantly looking over their shoulders and wondering what will happen next?
And besides the constant skirmishes going on, it certainly has been quiet these past three years in Neopia...

And besides the constant skirmishes going on, it certainly has been quiet these past three years in Neopia... They become fodder for NT writers to do with as they please. xD I'm fine with wars and plevents and whatnot if they don't repeat AotA, which I managed to miss but which was supposedly horrible.

Haha, very true. I've made the argument that less cannon may actually be better for us since it gives us more freedom. Oh God, AotA didn't exist. Nope. Never existed. This magma world just appeared out of no where... like Santa Claus often does on Christmas Eve.

It's been three years since an actual plot. I missed The Faerie's Ruin by three months. The plevents were mostly fun, if not tedious. But with the focus on almost-plots, and events, and NC when could they ever make a true plot?
I also remember all the Neopets toys I got when I was younger. We had puzzles, and a board game, and trading cards. After that we got these packs with stickers and tattoos that I liked. And even that brown uni plushie, and all the toys from McDonalds. This site had been with me for a long time. I think that's nicer way to make money tha auto-play sound ads or all-consuming NC.

I have yet to hear why AoTA was so terrible.
I mean, I'm sure I was there for some part of it, since I have the site theme, but I don't remember it at all.

This is just my opinion, but to me it was a total let down. >>; The part I look forward to the most in plots is getting involved, and especially solving the puzzles. But as far as I remember, AoTA was a series of "Click here!" -> "YAY you win!" steps. It was hardly challenging or engaging or entertaining. Come to think of it, I don't really remember it that well either, but I don't know, I feel like I would if I had enjoyed it more. XD;

I remember wanting to punch Clara so hard because she annoyed the snot out of me. The entire story and characters were unmemorable, except for her, and only because I hated her so. I also found the puzzles boring and one of the games was ridiculously hard for some reason, so I gave up near the end because I just didn't care anymore.

Yeah, the biggest thing for me was the characters--they both had no depth and just really got on my nerves. I mean, flat characters can be fine, and obnoxious characters can be fine, but you really don't want both.
Plus, the story really didn't have a solid strain of logic to it, and the conflict/mission itself was completely unclear.

Yup. That sums it up nicely. That and the less-than-creative knock off game challenges we had to do. And a lot of clicking the comic. *shakes head* Why oh why did that rubbish get a comic when we're waiting for another plot to surface? xD

You know what I think?
I think the next stamp set that TNT should release is NT greatest hits. A stamp set of the 25 best moments of the NT. And the best part is, since I know there are more then 25, we could have multiple sets.

"Happy Thoughts" stamp? mr.coconut was already a stamp to begin with (evil coconut), right?

Yeah, and like a White Weewoo stamp, a few stamps of famous april fools pranks, and maybe stamps of famous NT works.

And there absolutely must be a Chet Flash stamp... though I suppose it would be difficult to figure out what to put on it.
