You mean this? If that's what you're referring to, it might be broken on your browser. I'm on Firefox and it's working fine. Oh, wow, I had no idea there was a menu there! That's pretty cool. I use Chrome and I guess it doesn't work here. ^^;

Yes, that bar will look like that if scripts are blocked (via NoScript or anything similar), if Java is disabled, or if your browser doesn't support it.
EDIT: Though, strangely enough the menu works (for me) on PB support, but not on NTWF. XD

Their "Gender Visibility" option is probably set to "No" Aha, that's what it is, then. I guess it's invisible by default. I was looking for a setting in my profile, I just sort of assumed it would be in the same section that "Gender" was. Silly me. XDDDDDDDDD It wasn't invisible by default for me; I had to set it this way. It took me a long time to find it too. xD;;; And I had no idea those menus existed; probably NoScript is blocking it. That's cool that they're there though.

I'm starting to get the impression that Proboards accidentally reversed the gender visibility settings when they updated to V5, in that those who had it invisible suddenly had it as visible and vice versa. :B

That makes a lot of sense, actually. I'm going to believe that's what happened until someone comes up and says their setting wasn't changed. xD

Is anyone else having frequent problems with the new Proboards Search? I tend to get blank results when looking for anything; the number of posts always brings up 'no posts found' or something like that. and if I put a username in the 'posted by' criteria, I get a small, white (essentially blank) drop-down menu. PFA and I both have problems with the search function. I noticed that the search feature is working just fine on the PB Support forum, though.
I think this has been happening for a week or two, or so. I've mostly been hoping it's intermittent. It looks like some other PB forums have search problems.

Is anyone else having frequent problems with the new Proboards Search? Yep. Okay then. Good to know. XD; Another thing: Can someone pass along a request for PMs to check for empty messages like threads do? I keep running into this glitch where the contents of a message don't always send when I click 'post/reply.' Thankfully I can get the message back by hitting the browser's 'back' button. Still, I keep ending up sending blank PMs and I can't edit or delete PM replies like I can with thread posts.
