Sitting mysteriously in the middle of the street is a swirling black portal, wisps of dark energy coiling out of it. Step too close and you’ll be sucked right in, but you could always just do so willingly instead. Either way, it’ll grab you eventually, forcing you into the delights of Halloween Town!
Upon arriving, you’re met with dense fog, and wandering through it presents many horrors inside. A guillotine waiting to fall on the unsuspecting when they stumble under it; vents that shoot steam up from the ground; a fountain of green goo that shoots its contents at anybody who goes near; Welcome to Halloween Town!
Further into said portal awaits Jack Skellington, self-proclaimed Pumpkin King of Halloween. He paces back and forward over the cobbled pathway, waiting for the first trick-or-treaters to arrive into his domain. Oh, what a horrible evening it will be. He can hardly contain his excitement.
“Everything must go according to plan,” he mutters determinedly, “we never invite trick-or-treaters into Halloween Town, but what better way to make this the most terrifying Halloween yet?”
Jack glances behind him at the monsters and ghouls busy concocting toys and treats for anybody unwitting enough to enter through the portal, and then returns his gaze back to the portal and shakes his head. “It’s a shame Dr. Finkelstein couldn’t create a portal that allowed them to go both ways. But no matter, they’ll enjoy wandering Halloween Town forever. Who wouldn’t?!”
