I really hate the new WalMart spokesman. Like, seriously. I hate the new WalMart spokesman worse than Old Navy commercials, worse than Kayak.com commercials, even worse than Blue Tax commercials. I have no clue why, there's just something about that guy that rubs me the wrong way. The only reason I'm singling him out and not complaining about the ad campaign featuring him in and of itself is the music; the pleasant, upbeat song in those commercials is just barely enough to keep me from freaking out and punching the power button on the remote as hard as possible as soon as I see his uncanny grin. Nothing is worse then the Old Navy commercials

Let me finish... What's up? THE SKYnothing much, just fixing font colors in my MoDEoN post, as well as trying to decide on a name for Calli's other Alpha. Here I'm trying to do some writing/editing while the TV is on. Not entirely easy. @bacon: We kind of have some commercials like that. Granted, we usually mute the TV during commercial breaks, but there are some things where we'll hit 'TV/Input' and try to wait until we think it's over.

Blame the people that make the programming. :U But yeah, I find there are many pros to counter/balance the cons. Granted, if I had a TV-tuner card I could probably use a computer for many of those pros.

Nothing is worse then the Old Navy commercials I'm guessing you've never seen one of these commercials for Blue Tax. They're extremely low budget so I guess they might be local or regional. Basically, imagine I downloaded some basic CGI software. Imagine that there's some sort of glitch where none of the lighting or texture effects in the software work at all. Imagine I download a few basic models from the internet; basic humans and office furniture and such, nothing specialized. Imagine I try my hand at modeling and succeed(if it can be called that) in creating a malformed mascot that's apparently supposed to be human despite having a head literally three times the size of his body(if only that much), who I attempt to have lip-sync along to my amateur place-holder voice acting. Imagine I forget to hire anyone else to dub over my place-holder voice acting, and other than occasional stock sound effects (also obtained from the internet) this is the only audio I add. Imagine my mascot flailing madly in the foreground while the more human-like figures I got from online move stiffly(and silently) in the background, from either a sitting or standing position, anything that requires me to not show them moving from the waist down. Now imagine all of this, only much less professionally done, and with a voice much, much worse than mine providing the voice-over. Okay, what you're picturing right now? That's almost as bad as a Blue Tax commercial.

(Also, please don't say 'no kidding' when you're kidding. ) @bacon: While I haven't seen quite what you described, I think I know the feel. >_>;

No, badly made YouTube videos have much bigger budgets than these commercials.

The first one's pretty neat, if a bit trippy. Kinda wish I could see more than just the silhouettes. The second one is pretty 'what' since it seems so out of character. (Except maybe for Axl.) Did mute them... The first is obviously a parody/spin-off, while I wasn't really liking the music in the second. Agreeing with commenters: I like the models. @.@ (At least as well as I can see them.)

Some were a little tricky. Well, I did only hear the first few seconds... Still, I'd like to know where the second one is from, first. You might like this one. EDIT: The movie's not MegaMan, but you might like the song.
