Reading Tripadvisor reviews of the place I am hoping to go to today, which is a small town bordering a lagoon. Someone is complaining that the bus from the city to this town is "every hour".
Wow, my friend, you'd hate rural Scotland. The bus I used to take for work was every hour. Let me not even get started on the Highlands, where you're lucky to get a couple buses a day.

"Oh, you're in Sparta. So cool, what are you doing?" =D "...I'm currently generating names for members of a council in a fictional world. I could be doing this literally anywhere else."
"Oh, um. Cool?"

Cool?" Maybe later on, when you keep working with that same fictional world and involving those same council members, you might think back to that time you were sitting in Sparta, thinking those same thoughts in a different place? (Like my tree octopus kept making me think back to the streets of Dublin where I first shared the idea with you and Celes. x3)

Me: "Internet search engine, yesterday I was doing yoga, and it was overall good, but some poses really hurt my wrist. How do I accommodate or strengthen my wrists?" Site: "I'll help you strengthen your wrists!" Me: "Yay, tell me!" Site: "Do all these epic poses that rely you putting all of your strength entirely on your wrists (like handstands) and you'll be strong in no time!!"
Me: "...I... Think I need to start the bar way lower than that and not permanently injure my hands??"
(I was able to find more helpful sites.)

If I wear my peacock dress to the Pixar concert I'm going to this evening, does it count as Disneybounding as Kevin?
(I'll probably just wear one of my Pixar-inspired shirts instead, though XD)

Lecture: If I took your laptop away for, say, a week, do you think you'd survive?
Me: I mean no, but that's less because I'm dependent on my laptop and more because my work or the means to do it is only accessible via the internet/technology. It's difficult for academia to shame me for using tech when it simultaneously ties me to it.

Day ?? of the War of Crow Aggression.
Today the crow nation amped up their tactics. While previous attempts at cutting off branches to stop them accessing the disputed territory known as the bird feeder have been successful, they have now discovered how to do what was previously impossible: they knocked the bird feeder off the branch. This was deemed as an unacceptable escalation in the conflict.
The territory has been restored to its proper place but now, we are afraid we have no choice but to use drastic measures. Therefore, we have secured the territory in place with a foolproof weapon known as a rubber band. Hopefully this shall prevent the crow nation's soldiers from further plundering the disputed territory's resources.
Understand that we have no anger against the crow nation. We regularly bring their bretheren peace offerings. However, the resources of the birdfeeder territories are more desperately needed by smaller, weaker civillians who are driven off by crow aggression. We must look after them first and foremost.

Most Days: "Uugh, so many things I need to do here, too overwhelmed, maybe I'll do one or two, but most likely none." Some Days: "Oops I accidentally did literally almost every single chore without thinking about it."

I open Cinnabun's cage, and she doesn't come out. An hour later, I think about closing it for the night, and she finally decides it's time to start exploring. I guess I'm staying up late again.

you know i'm watching avengers:infinity war for the first time (yea i know) and let me tell you it's so boring thanos literally does the same thing over and over again, and i can't take him seriously because he's been memed to death. he's not a real villain, just a purple man with a truck grater for a chin.

And I might add, just in time for Endgame. It might be best to avoid the Internet for a bit due to massive spoilers.

Three and a half hours ago it was 10pm. Perfect chance for an early night! Then one of my closest friends had a crisis. Now it’s 1:30. Guess it’s finally time to see about that early night...

I think the big difference between the Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog movies is that the former appears to be made by people that know and love the franchise and thus know to keep the heart of what makes Pokemon so beloved by many. And Pikachu still looks like Pikachu, just with realistic fur textures.
Meanwhile, the Sonic movie reeks of being created by a bunch of executives saying to themselves, "This Sonic the Hedgehog thing is popular, right? Let's see if we can capitalize on that with a soulless cash-grab. We don't really need to try to be true to the source material - name recognition alone should bring in the bucks." Plus, Sonic himself looks more like a human man wearing a Sonic costume with an oversized helmet. Of course, I say this all while Detective Pikachu is still a week away and Sonic just had the first trailer released. Imagine the irony if it turns out that the Sonic movie is actually really good while Detective Pikachu turns out to be a train wreck. (For the record, I am cautiously optimistic about Detective Pikachu and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I don't really have enough attachment to Sonic the Hedgehog to care either way, though I do feel bad for those that are Sonic fans)

Bloodwork revealed everything is normal.
I swear if my high blood pressure is just caused by me being anxious in the doctor's office...
