Pillows for everyone! \ o /
I mean, how else are we going to have an epic pillow fight?

That's okay- but I get all the purple pillows! =P
(projects like this are my blanket forte. Haha!)

Purple pillows and blanket forts apparently mean an automatic win here.
This is not a complaint.

Not forever though!

But it'll return because purple pillows and blanket forts never fail. =| *Clings to them.*

Joke's on you guys, I'm waiting 50 years until this forum is abandoned so I can finally win!
Playing the long con.

Well, you did win for a few days now; maybe we can trade that in exchange for waiting 50 years for a forum post game?

Misinterpreted that as "forum postgame", as in "whatever discussion there is after this game itself is over".

Sounds like that discussion would be the same as the usual discussion here.
Or a new game thread would be started and have discussion resume there.

That made me imagine someone making a move of posting on this thread before quickly making a new Last One to Post Wins! to try and lock in their win on the other.
"I noticed that the old thread was getting pretty hefty in post count, so I thought I'd make us a fresh one that comes with a new game as well! =D (which means any and all posts for the game will now go on this one, no cheating >>)"

I'm assuming that would be abuse of modly powers, though, and they'd have to take away your toothbrush.

Not necessarily; the post seems to write it as if any forumer could do it. No actual locking required.
...Of course, a mod could always come in and lock that, but it would be an abuse of modly powers indeed. xD
("So, about this mod..." "The one who created a new look for the forum, saved the place from a massive data wipe, and singlehandedly fought off an army of spambots overnight until they could get modly reinforcement?" "Yeah, they just tried to cheat a win in the Last One to Post Wins thread by locking it." "Welp, can't have that; toothbrush begone!")
(Not that it wouldn't be a sign of power abuse. xD Maybe this fictional mod is like one of those characters in a story about a hero where the true stories of their deeds show not-so-heroic methods, and they're just bolstered by popularity.)

Ah yeah, no need for locking in that scenario, just the new thread creator really having faith in everyone else to actually post on their thread!
Now, what would it be if a mod locked the new thread, rather than the old? (Or rather, just got rid of it x3)

This thread is approaching puberty at this point.
...Does anybody actually know what happens during thread puberty? Or does this one get to be the case study?

I'm not sure myself what happens, but that's mostly because I've still got an account that's just coming out of the toddler stages! We can only hope that this thread doesn't start back talking, since we already give each other enough of that when we're trying to win =o
