Glyph: *goes to the steps* ---- ((Okay. How well furnished is the place? May I write in props I think might be there?)) There was happy shrieking and yelling at this news from several children.adult: ... Just the tyros? What about us? *compares the cut-up tire to the ramp and stairs* Hmm... We could cut the big strip in half and put pieces of the rest where there's still gaps... *gets out the big scissors* ----- ((Fairly well; not overly so. And sure.)) Guard1: We've only been asked to let the kids go, ma'am. I'm sure you'll be let out soon, too, but we haven't received orders to do so yet. Glyph: Hey, why don't we cut the long strip to fit the ramp instead? ---- ((Okay. Were the safe-houses designed to hold humans or Reploids?)) adult: *nods* Okay, Master. The adults began lining up the children.

The adults began lining up the children. That's what I mean: cut the one long piece into two shorter pieces so it would fit better. And use the rest to fill in gaps, especially at the outer corners of the steps. ----- ((Both, but more human-oriented.)) Caretaker5: Coordinates set. You may go when ready.

There were hugs and a mix of goodbyes, then the adults stepped away.

There were hugs and a mix of goodbyes, then the adults stepped away. The ramp is flat but the stairs aren't. Also, the ramp is taller than the steps, so I had to set it at a shallower angle. So it needs more support in certain spots to really be sitting on the steps. Especially the lower steps. ----- ((I picture a half-dozen safe houses. Lessee... How many thousands were teleported there again? I'm thinking each might be equipped for somewhere between several dozen and a couple hundred.)) Guard2: *'go ahead' gesture, motioning toward the teleporter* Go on then. =)

Are you sure putting it on the steps will do any good? ---- ((That's a broad spectrum XD And I'm not sure. I looked back for the answer, but I can't find it. Was it 40,000, perhaps? Or was it 12,000? I don't remember... Fighters being gone is a small chunk, and construction/repair-related plus some is a huge chunk.)) Amid usual child antics the tyros were eventually all teleported out, Without the younglings to provide entertainment and distraction, more adults began gravitating to the windows.

Let's find out. *starts by cutting the long piece into two shorter pieces* Would you help me get these underneath the ramp? ----- ((Also a broad spectrum. For now, let's say 'just about enough that everyone could barely fit.')) Guard1: *listening to his radio* Expect more to come in. They might consolidate the adults, shortly. ((About what percentage would you say is made up of adults? What percentage would you say is left?))

Glyph: Sure thing. *kneels down and lifts the ramp upward* ---- ((Yes, yes it is ^^; Adults were the majority. I think I remember saying there were 2,000 tyros in total within Swash's group. With everyone who's left, there's probably just 30% of what was there was before.)) There were some gasps and a few of the robots ran away from the windows to claim and guard prime locations, like beds/cots, places to sit, ectra.---- Several Rinamians teleported into Taco City, dividing up and moving to different parts of the square where they stood quietly.

Guard1: *talks and listens for awhile* ... Cancel that. Signas thinks it would be better to keep the load even for now.

I just want to give the ramp support for now. *starts placing strips at the corners of the steps since Glyph is still holding the ramp up, anyway* ----- ((Almost. That would be the 'terrible typo' I fixed with my edit. )) Guard1: What?! No! No... Sig nas! Our commander! ((Since I think this has happened twice, I think I should mention: the 'a' in Sigma uses the schwa sound while the 'a' in Signas is more like a short 'I'. So 'Sigg-muh' vs. 'Sigg-niss.'))

And I know how Sigma and Signas are pronounced, and even spoken they sound easy to mishear.)) "Oh! Sorry!" There was wide-spread relief through the robots who had either not clearly heard the Reploid, those who thought they might have heard him say Sigma after the idea was suggested by the robot who really thought he said Sigma. The robot who had misheard hung her head as her face turned bright red. She wished there was somewhere she could hide right now.
