Swash: I could do it if I could get more power to them. But they're locked so the power can't come from the towers. I also need some supplies so I can increase their range. : Okay, increasing power, doing whatever to the towers. What else do you control? I mean, if you actually try to just plain take something of theirs they're probably going to kill you, so you need to find out what they want and make it yours before they make it theirs. Swash: ... I have the mines that were built during the Maverick incident.

'Cause you can hide the mines in there and then say you'll remove them if they listen to you.

I have the mines you get materials from, not the kind that blow up. But the Rinamians are seeking greater independence from the Lesks. Most mines in Rinam are under Lesk control.

Usually when people say "mines", I think of mines that are supposed to kill people. So you can use those as leverage!

Swash: Hm.. no, since technically they have claimed the mines. But the mines are something I can get to... and possibly use to claim something they have interest in... *smiles* Yes, I can see the way now. Thank you Patton, you have been very helpful.

I am hoping to bring back some of the technology that made us such a dominate force in the Beta War. Used more responsibly this time, of course.

It's always best to draw your energy as much as you can from the sources around you.

Sorry if I'm being nosy or anything, it's just that I could have access to all this alien military technology and it's so cool

The carbon converters convert carbon into energy the military force can use, and the towers send it out to be used by the soldiers.

Swash: If it was carbon, the Betas grabbed it for fuel. That wasn't always a good thing. This time the soldiers are more intelligent.
