"That was weird," Mima said. "Schala, do you think...Schala?"
Schala was already over by Miraja.
"You're a princess of Shenkuu?" she said. "Then you must know the Princess of Altador, right?" There was definite excitement in her voice.
(OOC: Yes, there is a princess of Altador: my character, Saeryennan. She's appeared in Neopian Times issues)

"Erm, no. I never even realized that King Altador HAD a daughter!" Miraja shook her head.
"Gangwaaaaay!" *CRASH* Some sort of steam driven contraption had just crashed through the wall, sending a scrawny, four-foot-tall young Camouflage Scorchio clad in Moltaran clothes hurtling into the wall! "Ow..."
*CRASH* A ten-foot-tall, incredibly muscular Brown Grarrl wearing some patched-up green-and-brown clothes with a really nice wide-brimmed hat had just slammed through the wall using a gigantic axe! "Vulcan?! Little buddy, where are ya?!" He spoke with a distinctive Bogshot twang. (OoC: I imagine Bogshot accents sound like a mix between yer typical cowboy accent and a Cajun accent.)
"I'm over here, Tyranno!" The Scorchio dizzily walked up to his much larger friend.

The force of the crash knocked the standing Schala over. Mima immediately rushed to her sister's side.
"You okay?"
"Yeah..." Schala said. "I-I-I don't know who th-they are, though..."
"Here," said Mima as she helped her sister up.
She then walked toward the Scorchio. "Um...do you need assistance...?"

"Well, I kind of last track of where these wen- Hunter! Miraja!" Vulcan ran up to Hunter and gave him a high five, then gave Miraja a hug. "It's been a while, guys!"
"Hunter, Miraja?" Tyranno then ran over to his three much smaller friends, lifted them up and gave them a hug. "My friends! My pals! Oh, and me."
"Erm, Tyrano? Could you please let us go?" Hunter was struggling. Sometimes, Tyranno forgot that he was stronger than any other Neopian.
"What is it, Hunter?" Tyranno looked down at his smaller friends.
"Let us go, you goof!" Miraja was looking up at Tyranno, and Vulcan was almost out of breath.
"Oh, sorry. Forgot my owns trength!" Tyranno set the trio down. As big and fierce-looking as he was, he was nothing more than a gentle giant who often forgot his own strength. He then turned towards the wall. "I can, uh, fix it. Yep." Tyranno then started picking up pieces of rubble from where Vulcan's machine had crashed through, and placed it in the wall. "Now all it needs is ome dried mud to hold the pieces in palce. Or something."

"AAAH! MY DESK!! ToT" Victor yelled when he noticed the wall that was knocked over fell right on the table he his sister were working sometime ago, the eyrie ran to the desk and hugged it "It's okay baby...it's okay...it's alright...all the time we spent together....T_T" he mumbled "Should we help him?" Saly asked her sister "We should, but we don't need to..." Kim laughed, suddenly a weewoo walked over to Saly "I'm sorry, the editor rejected three of your six submitted comics..." he said and leaved quickly "Awn...I'm so sorry, Saly...it wasn't your lucky day!" Kim said, the lupe just laughed a bit nervously "I still have three chances left!"

"You want...mud?" Mima said to Tyranno. "Wouldn't, say...glue be better? 'Cause I can go grab...some..."
As she said this she fumbled through her purse trying to find out if she had enough Neopoints left to get some decent glue. If only she hadn't paid bogus prophets...well, she wasn't doing that again.
Schala was looking through some strange grasses. She was often curious about things like that and wondered of maybe there was a bottled Earth Faerie in the middle of it. If there was, she wasn't going to let it out because then it would get petrified. Her suspicion was Fyora, but no one seemed to believe her historical inquisitions so she had never spoken of it to a single Neopet.

"Sorry 'bout yer desk." Tyranno started rubbing the back of his head, and then looked towards Mima. "Well, back whar I come from in Bogshot, we don't have no glue. Mud kin hold thangs together an' stuff better, 'cuz when it dries, it holds. And it's free!"
Hunter than walked in front of Tyranno and Vulcan. "Allow me to introduce to more of my travelling companions; Tyranno is the Grarrl. He may be tall and incredibly strong, but he's as gentle as a Babaa. He's just clumsy, is all."
"And not very bright!" Miraja chimed in. "But he makes up for it in strength! Then," Miraja gestured towards Vulcan, "You have Vulcan. He's small, and not too brave, but he's a genius!"

"Ah," Mima said. Just then she noticed Schala walking their way with a strange piece of paper.
"It's a message from Saeryennan!" she cried. "Mima, she wants us to meet her in the Hall of Heroes."
Mima was instantly struck by an idea.
"Hey Tyranno," she said. "Could your little vehicle get us to Altador, by any chance? I know it's a long way away, but" - she looked at the message - "it says 'Come to the Hall of Heroes. And hurry!'"
"Oh, I do hope Saery's okay," Schala said. She had met the princess once at the Katare Academy of Altador and they had become friends in a few seconds. "You think she had another vision?"

Tyranno laughed, "It ain't my vehicle. It's Vulcans! Although I use it, but he drives it. And he buiult it. I don't know how to make that fancy Moltaran stuff work. He does."
Vulcan was busy using his hammer-spanner to repair the contraption. "This bolt goes here... This one goes there, and... Finished!" Vulcans tood proudly, dwarfed y the new and improved vehicle. "I, erm, used pieces of your desk, Victor..."
However, someone new had arrived. A seven-foot-tall figure, lean yet powerful, strode in. He was an Electric Jetsam clad in Jade Maractite chainmail, holding a hook-like blade called a khopesh in one hand. In the other, a familiar-looking Shadow Hissi. "Excuse me, but I believe my..." He glared at the Hissi angrily, and Fang simply smirked. "Friend here has something that belongs to you two." He then threw the Hissi down on the floor in front of Mima and Schala. "Give them back their money."
The hiss then searched through the pockets of his robe. "Oops, I think it must have slipped out through a hole in my pocket! Oh well!" He laughed, but was picked up by the Jetsam and shook down! "Ow ow ow ow ow! By the Gods, you didn't need to shake me! Since when was there two of everybody?"
"There. All your Neopoints, plus interest." The Jetsam started to walk away, until he noticed the other Neopets standing around. "Ah, it's nice to see the rest of you."
"Zarkos!" Miraja ran up and gave the Jetsam a hug, as did Vulcan. "How are things in Maraqua, old friend?"
"Hail, hail, the gang's all here!" The Hissi threw up his arms in a mock celebration, as his shadow appeared to be throwing confetti.

"Thank you," said Mima in an unpleasant tone at the Hissi when she got her Neopoints. "Now, to get this thing to Altador..."
She climbed aboard the strange contraption. "How do you work one of these?"
Schala turned to the Jetsam. "Who is he anyway?" she whispered.
Her sister was trying to discern for herself how such a vehicle was driven. She was born and raised in Altador, where they had self-driving carriages, so naturally she wouldn't know how to work something like this. Come to think of it, she wasn't even sure if it was safe, let alone get them all the way to Altador.

The Jetsam looked down at the two. They noticed that he was actually a Blue Jetsam, but the scars crossing his body made him look like an Electric Jetsam. "I am Zarkos, Grand Battlemaster of Maraqua."
Vulcan then got into the driver's seat of the machine. "It needs my hammer-spanner as a key. I tend to use it as a key in most of my inventions!" Vulcan then clamped the hammer-spanner's grip around a bolt, and twisted it, starting the vehicle. "You guys wanna go, too?"
"I don't see why not..." Hunter shrugged.
"Sure, I guess." Miraja placed her hand on her chin.
"A road trip? Oh this should be quite amusing!" Fang rubbed his hands together.
"If that... Lunatic goes, then I'll go to keep him in line." Zarkos crossed his arms.
"Yew know Ah'm with ya, li'l buddy!" Tyranno gave a thumbs up.

"I see," Schala said to Zarkos as she climbed into the unusual contraption beside her sister. She had been meaning to ask about that suspicious Hissi, who was now going with them to Altador (why?), but oh well.
She then turned toward Miraja. "Well," she said, "are you coming? You'll meet the Princess of Altador!"
Mima watched Vulcan start up the vehicle. It was all so complicated; like nothing of Altador. It intrigued her that one could invent such a piece.
Of course, her main focus was what lay ahead. She wondered what Saeryennan needed. She had never met the princess, but all the same, she worried. It was her sister's friend, after all.

"So... What does Saeryennan look like? Is she a Lupe, like King Altador?" Miraja asked. It was rare that she got to meet other princesses; most of her life, she had spent restricted in the palace walls by order of her father. The emperor may have been overprotective, but after the bandits attacked and killed the Empress, Miraja's mother, well...
"And, if you're wondering why I'm here, I'm Hunter's best friend in all of Neopia!" Fang smirked at Hunter.
"Well... I do admit, Fang's, erm, antics can be entertaining." Hunter scratched his head.

"Saeryennan is a Cybunny like your sister," Schala said. "And like me. Interesting thing is that her mother, Kalara, is a Wocky. Then again, your father's a Gelert and judging by the species of your two sisters you mother can't be all three of them...I'm sorry. Am I asking too many questions?"
As clever as she was, Schala was unfortunately unknowing of the fact that Miraja no longer had a mother.
"You do know how to drive this thing, right?" Mima said to Vulcan. She was pretty anxious to get going, but first everyone had to board...

"My sisters and I do not have the same mother. They're my step-sisters; they're ineligible for the crown." Miraja looked sullen, and looked away from Mima and Schala.
"Please, don't ask her about her mother. Her mother, well... Passed on. Much like my father." Hunter said to the two younger Neopets. "Everybody on!"
"In all my life, I never new King Altador was married. You'd think Kalara would be among the heroes, but... Oh, well!" Fang slithered on board the contraption, talking his usual post in a crow's nest-like chamber, called a cupola, so his keen eyes could scan the landscape for highwaymen.
"I built this thing to last; it's bigger and better, plus, it has defenses!" Vulcan flicked a switch, and a small crossbow turret appeared in Fang's loft.
"Zarkos, Tyranno; you two go out on the platform to the back, since you're respectively our fiercest and strongest fighters. Miraja, make sure -"
"I'll sit in the cabin next to Vulcan. You guard the princesses." Miraja stood up in front of her boyfriend. Hunter knew that she didn't want to be around the twoa fter they mentioned her mother, and he also knew it was best not to argue with Miraja.
"Alright. I'll be the guard in here. And the cook, I guess. My mother did teach me a lot about making good food!" Hunter spoke the truth. None of his traveling companions were particularly good at preparing food; Zarkos was blind in one eye due to his scars; Tyranno has trouble reading recipes; Miraja's cooking is almost lethal; Vulcan tends to burn the food; and Fang tends to use rather... Unorthodox ingredients.
(Oh boy, plot!)
