"All the world's a stage, and the men and women merely players." We make the performance! We're putting on a performance? What of? *lays back on a rock, looking at Felix upside-down* Ah, but the script has yet to be written, for the players are also the writers. But if the characters are the players, and the players are the writers, then what are the players' writers? ...

You're thinking too literally, Felix. :U

*Pops head out of ground next to rock* o.o Hello! AUGH! *Startled* … You should be used to random encounters by now. That doesn't make it any less startling.

oh hey look it's Felix :3 *Sighs* (At least SHE was starting to understand the point I had made…)Sorry, I just felt like doing that. *Climbs out onto surface* Is anything happening /now/? Nope. :/ The hang of this place? I've had nothing to get used to yet. That's right. Right now, there is nothing happening. We've been trying to think of something to do for the past month and a half at the VERY least, and have come up with nothing. It's getting very frustrating to the point of some people mourning the lack of activity level, some people mourning the lack of "random derp" (yes, you know who you are), some people getting irritable at the lack of fights, and others just being bored out of their minds. …Ambassador, you need to calm down.

In other words, people have given up, despaired and basically been the same as they always have? Well, phooey.

... In other words, people have given up, despaired and basically been the same as they always have? Well, phooey. More of that we've tried several ideas and they don't really seem to be working.

In other words, people have given up, despaired and basically been the same as they always have? Well, phooey. I think part of it is that whenever someone does try, either no one joins in, they're shot down, or something else negative. Example: I tried to do random rhyming to lighten up the mood, and for some reason it scared you.

Another problem with forum chat is that it's harder to tell tone of voice and such. But yeah, it seems like for every thing happening, there are three people that say 'no' because it's not what they want to do. Hmm... Maybe we should be a bit less 'rule of cool' and a bit more 'consent rule.' (Details here and here.) And/or maybe we should be a bit more free with trying to start stuff, and you don't have to join if you don't have to. If that happens, maybe we can get things a bit more back like in the old days, where a bunch of things are going on at once and what you join in on is up to you.
