HEY GUYS LOOK WHAT I SPENT ALL YESTERDAY DOING (Fair warning: I haven't gone through and spoilered any text, and there are a few spoiler textwalls in here. So, be warned.) So basically, yesterday morning I got bored and started contemplating what my various characters thought of each other. Then I started throwing together a code for the heck of it. Then I brought it up on Skype, and then Omni wanted to join in, and then Torkie, etc. etc., and now I've got this big monster of a webpage full of derpred galore. And it's not even finished yet! XD; So, yeah. *pokes it* If anyone wants to look, feel free. And if anyone particularly wants to contribute, let me know.

Responses are coming in faster than I can copy/paste them! So if you've been waiting for a certain character's response, keep your eyes peeled. :U
Also, I have been told today that this page will probably be worse than TV Tropes once complete. I'm inclined to believe it, if just partially because it comes complete with its own Nightmare Fuel. (Oh my gosh the villains' stuff. I think Dr. Lylin full well counts as High Octane. *cries*)

*bump!* Been adding in some random character opinions, and also some writers' character lists seem to be expanding a bit. :U I may start splitting this thing into multiple pages if it gets much bigger.

More opinions are being added! Keep checking back for updates! And I'm still open if any other writers want to contribute. :3
Also, Omni made this convenient template a while back in case you want to make it easier for me to C/P the opinions in. Thanks, Omni! ^_^ I'll keep it updated as more characters are added. The parts you need to edit are in red. Just delete the lines for characters you want to give the "I don't know" response to.
By default the code will use whatever is assigned as the default smiley for the responses, but if you'd like to add expression changes to the opinions, just format it like the following example:

None of that code makes any sense to me, unfortunately. XD; *Still needs to do a bunch of opinions* i need a list of who all i still have to do I put the parts you need to edit in red, hopefully that should make it a little clearer. XD; As for you, I think you still need... -The rest of Piers -Mia Imil -Isaac -Ivan -Garet -Lee Sr. -Revenge -Greed -Ambition -Kristoph

Tutorial For Filling Out The TemplateI am writing this tutorial instead of PFA because, as somebody familiar with code, she can look at it and not know how to explain it, because it looks extremely simple. A person unfamiliar with code can look at it and believe it is an Eldritch Abomination in text form. As I understand some code, but absolutely no JavaScript, I can look at it, guess how it does what it does, but understand how it could be complex and confusing. NOTE: I'll be using font colors to illustrate different things, but you don't need font colors when you send your own opinions to PFA. If it helps, go right ahead, but I can't imagine you'd want to look at more code. NOTE2: You cannot use quotation marks in this, or it will break the code. Use " in place of any quotation marks you want to add. For this part of the tutorial, I will be using our good friend Nero. First, let me explain how to fill out the top part. You'll need to replace all of the things in red. For character number, scroll down to where your characters are listed, and find the line of code that says the name of the character you're writing opinions for. The number that I've highlighted here in green is what you want. So Nero is number five for me. Smiley URL is the link for the character's smiley. So, for Nero, I would use i125.photobucket.com/albums/p69/huntersfakescreenies/smiley/nero_helmet.gifThe character's name is just the character's name, nothing tricky here. Nero is Nero. The "I don't know" response is for if your character doesn't know another character. It'll just display this one "I don't know who this is" message. The "greeting" is what you see when you first select the character. "Hello", "Go away", "Why me", etc. etc. Here is what it looks like completely filled out for Nero. Now, you can get started on the actual opinions. For example, when I'm writing Nero's opinion of Dr. Lupe, I scroll down to the line with Doc in it... For this, you fill in the character's opinion of the character in place of their name. So: Characters should also have an opinion or description of themselves. is therefore changed to It is very simple to fill out an opinion if the character doesn't know them. Say, for example, out of the following list, Nero didn't know Ema. You simply delete the whole line, so it would end up being: Then, if Ema was selected for Nero, you would get his "I don't know" response. That's all there is to it. For this part of the tutorial, I will be using Gandhibot. First, let me explain how to fill out the top part. You'll need to replace all of the things in red. You are not adding a character number because the character won't have a number until PFA puts them on the page, so PFA will handle that part. Smiley URL is the link for the character's smiley. So, for Gandhi, I would use i125.photobucket.com/albums/p69/huntersfakescreenies/smiley/gandhi_norm.gifThe character's name is just the character's name, nothing tricky here. Gandhi is Gandhi. The "I don't know" response is for if your character doesn't know another character. It'll just display this one "I don't know who this is" message. The "greeting" is what you see when you first select the character. "Hello", "Go away", "Why me", etc. etc. Here is what it looks like completely filled out for Gandhi. Now, you can get started on the actual opinions. For example, when I'm writing Gandhi's opinion of Mazna, I scroll down to the line with Mazna in it... For this, you fill in the character's opinion of the character in place of their name. So: Characters should also have an opinion or description of themselves. But, since new characters obviously aren't in the template yet, just send it to PFA seperate from the rest of the template, like this: It is very simple to fill out an opinion if the character doesn't know them. Say, for example, out of the following list, Gandhi didn't know Max. You simply delete the whole line, so it would end up being: Then, if Max was selected for Gandhi, you would get his "I don't know" response. That's all there is to it.

I love how the tutorial for unnumbered characters is basically just "let PFA do it." XD Well played.
At any rate, thanks, Hunter! ^_^

Added an Other section for characters from short writer lists. :3 (Y'know, 'cause having a list with like three characters on it next to the lists with 20+ would look a bit odd. XD;)
Also, something I thought I'd point out: for the template, if you don't have a smiley for the character, you can just delete that line, like you would for the "I don't know" characters. ^_^

So Omni figured out how to make characters have different expressions depending on who they're looking at. :U Similarly, the expressions for the greeting and/or the I don't know response can be changed in a similar fashion. I'll see if I can put up a template/tutorial later. Either way, feel free to go wild. :U

Ha… um, Sae? My COs are very outdated and before I can even begin to think of writing stuff for you, I have to update all the current ones and add nine new people and all their opinions to the mix. It's probably going to be months before I can honestly consider addressing it. OKay. Can mine talk about some of yours?
