Moana: If you're set on forbidding all ocean-related things and activities and keeping your child away from it, forbidding her from ever so much as fantasizing about it... Consider not naming your daughter the Maori word for 'ocean'.

Stardew Valley: The moral thing to do in the face of exploitative capitalism is to reconnect with nature and rebuild the small communities whose degradation said capitalism is responsible for...
...but if you don't make millions of gold while doing so, you're worthless as a human being.
(I do like this game, don't get me wrong. But it's not exactly consistent in the messages it tries to portray...)

Heathers: Murder is wrong. But you can get away with it super easily!
Any American Reality TV Show: Remember, any negative thing is the worst thing ever and should be treated as such. No matter how small the thing! Your bread being a little too dry is exactly the same feeling as an on-set injury!

Conversely to the American Reality TV show example...
Great British Bake Off: Cake is nice. People are nice. Innuendos are nice. Everything is nice.

Persona 5: If you're the leader of a teenage band of thieves that operate in the shadows, unseen by all else, then the perfect place to pick as a hideout is a public hallway where one of your members can loudly shout about your activities.

Macbeth: Murder may be wrong, but it's a great motivator! (And don't feel guilty about it, or you'll just go insane.)
Much Ado About Nothing: You can always lie to get what you want.
A Midsummer Night's Dream: You can always manipulate people to get what you want. (Or just for funsies, y'know.)
The Tempest: Have a tragic figure who wants vengeance against being enslaved? Don't explore that; just get them drunk! It's okay, he's just a monster!

The Picture of Dorian Gray: Rich people with nothing better to do are awfully fond of hearing themselves talk. Please don't encourage them or give them an audience.

Pokemon GO: It's totally cool to make pets of wild animals, put them in cages no bigger than the palm of your hand, and only let them out so they can fight each other to the death for your own enjoyment!

Thief: Deadly Shadows - There's never a wrong time for wanton thievery.
No, not even then.
Euroatlantis D&D - There are indeed wrong times for wanton stalking. But stay determined, and they will not stop you!
Flight Rising - Whether you receive the high honor of being exalted to directly serve your deity depends largely on how ugly you are.

Blueysicle Forever salty about this. The entire rest of the franchise: The heart of all this is Hiccup and Toothless' friendship and how it can weather any obstacle. Hidden World: Okay but like... What if Toothless just stopped caring about Hiccup? What if he cared more about a girlfriend he met like a day ago and didn't even bother to say hi to Hiccup for a decade? (even though none of the other dragons had an issue balancing time with their riders and having a family of their own, as seen in Gift of the Night Fury) That's the ending everyone wanted, right? =D And I refuse to buy the whole "We wanted to tie it into the book's ending!" because that's not even what happens in the books
