XD The synopsis I think reads like something completely stupid, not much more creative than the cliched "Let's see what Santa/The Easter Bunny are really like, hur hurr!" al la Arthur Christmas or Hop. However, I am SO digging the Russian Santa, so I'll probably see it. XDD Also, and maybe it's just me, but the bad guy (super short shot at 1:55) looks a bit like Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I just find that amusing since this movie HAS a Sandman. XDD

Woohoo!
I think Anne Hathaway's singing here is somewhat anticlimactic, but I am so going to see this when it comes out.

Les Mis and The Great Gatsby... if I see a trailer for a Grapes of Wrath or a Moby Dick, I shall have to conclude that Hollywood has made the transition from fun kid's books (comic books and fairy tales) to grade school required reading. XDDDDDD (Not that Les Mis isn't a fantastic book.)

I am looking forward to this movie so much. *Les Mis fan* I kinda agree about Hathaway's singing in the trailer, but it works well enough, and everything else definitely makes it look worth watching.

Hmm... I think Pixar may have jumped the shark with this one. But then again, they may surprise us, like with Cars 2 (of which I was not overly fond, but it was certainly better than what I'd originally anticipated).
Probably not going to see this in theaters, but who knows? It's still a year away.
I still think that the only Pixar movie worthy of a decent sequel is The Incredibles. And that's mostly because it's a superhero movie, so they can just do it.

Is it just me, or is it sort of weird that they don't look any younger than in their Monsters Inc movie? I mean, I get that it's college and not high school or anything, but without any noticeable change it's hard to not see them as middle-aged guys in a frat-house. XD
And so far, there really wasn't that much in that trailer that was very compelling. (Or that wasn't already a college cliche. XD)

I remember reading this story in high school. I have no idea if the movie will be any good, but...this trailer. I love this trailer.

The marigold petals everywhere when the Calavera Catrina showed up really looked nice. I don't know about the plot, but the Land of the Remembered looks amazing. I hope it turns out well, because I want to go see it.

INTO THE WOODS!!!!!!!!!!
I am disappointed that there wasn't any singing. Even Cinderella's "I wish" was just sort of spoken. So either they're trying to save the singing to get people more tensed up about it, or they're trying to disguise the fact that it's a musical. Possibly to make it seem more "edgy". To which I must reply: "You cut out the edgiest parts of an already edgy show! Into The Woods is edgy and a musical! It can be both!" Nevertheless, I'm excited, and actually happy that one particularly spoilerful part of the plot was cut, because a new song was written, and this means we get a new Sondheim song!

I'm more disappointed in how drab and grey it is. Not everything has to be brown and gritty, Hollywood! :/
But I -am- looking forward to what Johnny Depp looks like as the wolf. X3
