The following is a collection of canon relating to Brassport. =3
History
Brassport was once the capital city of the land of Brigaia. The Royal Palace sat just outside the city limits, with its own defenses.
Brassport's technology greatly advanced with the invention of Thermal Energy Producers, a cleaner and easier replacement for coal invented by the Alchemists, with the help of Blackstone Industries. It is thanks to the TEPs that Brassport was able to start using airships.
Some time before the TEPs were invented, a slowly increasing hatred for magic caused the people of Brassport to go on a witch hunt, an event which many people can still remember. During this time, alchemists discovered how to make an amulet that could provide some protection against magic. However, these amulets were shown to be harmful to the user, so the Palace had them all destroyed after the witch hunt was over. Rumour has it, however, that in a vault in the Mayor's office contains instructions on how to create the amulets.
One day, at the start of the third Guild Wars, Brassport was somehow dragged out of Brigaia and found itself between Dunburrow and Tabloid Town. The Palace was left behind, and the Mayor as well, since he was visiting the Palace at the time. During the events of Guild Wars 3, Brassport recieved heavy damage from Celestial, who was possessed by the Underdeep.
Defences
Brassport has its own militia, which currently has no leader. Many people in the city are a part of the militia, although most of those people only serve it in times of war. The rest guard the city most of the time, and a few of the mlitia's own engineers make sure that everything is in working order.
The defences mostly consist of airships, but there are also a few tanks, a few metal ships, one primitive submarine which, fully crewed, can only stay underwater for about an hour, as well as two large guns overlooking the harbour and a number of smaller ones around the wall. However, there is currently no incoming supply of ammo, so use of the weapons is limited.
