[glow=red,2,300]Since as far back as anyone can remember, there have been legends surrounding the manor on the hill. Some say that the pond in the garden was the fountain of youth.
Upon further inspection, Rider found that it only contained red herrings.
There was no doubt in the pirate’s mind that the maids were stealing from the players. It takes a thief to catch a thief, after all. However, she had no proof beyond the fact that the maids were creepy as all heck.
But for the Master of the Manor to have ordered them to do it? She posed the question to Ikkin.
“They don’t look capable of defying orders,” Ikkin tossed bread crumbs into the herring pond. “I know you don’t like suspecting him, Rider, but he’s not the same.”
“He would never…”
“Time changes people, Rider.”
Rider hugged her knees to her chest and stared into the crystal-clear water. Ikkin was right, but still… she needed to know who this stranger really was.
The Hunt for the Stranger of the Manor begins!
Keep your eyes peeled for clues that the Stranger may leave behind.
You do not have to be a Tournament participant to join the hunt.
All speculation must be posted in the Lobby thread.
If you think you know who the Stranger is, PM me. But be forewarned! You only have one guess. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]((I deeply apologize for the non-existance of Part 2. And sorry, Omni, I godmoded the gem. ^_^; I am ashamed of my actions, but I got overrun by my own plot? XDDD))
The sound of soft classical music wafts through the gardens. Vyt and Amnei sat at the table in front of the fountain. The Master's voice came from an empty balcony.
"I want a fair match from both of you. The winner will challenge me for the right to my legacy."
Rider stood behind the actual Master of the Manor. "Sir..."
"The young Chronomancer was weak." He fingered Scar's pocketwatch. "The owners of the demon-sword and the gem were weak too, but..."
"There's something special about that pocketwatch." It was a dumb question.
"A strong artifact in such weak hands. He was never the one I need."
A pause, even more time that Rider could not get back.
"I happened to wander into the basement. I found a book."
The Stranger's eyes suddenly went big. The maids' eyes flashed. They approached Rider with anger in thier robotic minds.
The pirate took a step back. "That book is full of dark magics. I don't know what exactly you're trying to do, but I am going to stop you."
The Master of the Manor just smiled. "Foolish girl. Such a weak, foolish, idealistic girl. You're not the one I need either." He took the watch from his pocket.
That was the last thing Rider remembered.[/glow]
