Maybe that's why some of my submissions are always being held back... ;D Yeah, I was kinda thinking that, but Feli confirmed my thoughts.

I just tried out the new submission form, all I get after submitting an article or comic is the dreaded
The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Publishing famous authors less often, eh? Well, now the people at the NW can't complain that no new authors are published!
Ah, they'll do it anyway...

I have another question: Do we still need to make each title different (like having to add numbers to comic titles in order to get the form to accept them)? For now, I'm going to keep doing that just to be on the safe side, but if we could get an answer yea or nay for the future, that'd be great.

Someone had told me earlier that they got the Page Cannot be Displayed error when trying to send their story, but when I looked at the submissions, all of theirs had gotten in the submissions area. So at least you get all the submissions despite the 404's we always get after hitting the SUBMIT button? ;D

I'm not sure about the frequently-published-authors-not-being-accepted thing. Entries should be accepted because they're good, no matter how often their author has been published. It's like how **cough** n00bs **cough** like to complain about frequently-published authors getting in because they've been in so much in the past, but in reverse. And I don't like it. (And I didn't get enough sleep last night, so I'm sorry if I sound too harsh.)

Note: I have been instructed to try to allow more submissions from new writers, rather than those who have already been in dozens of times. If you are one of the people who have been accepted a lot in the past, just keep this in mind. (This does not mean you won't be accepted anymore, but rather don't expect all your submissions to be accepted every single week). I know in some ways this may seem to be unfair to some, but in another way it makes getting into the NT fairer for others since space in the NT is limited. Thanks. It's about time something was done for those poor people who are trying so hard to get in but can't because "there were too many good submissions this week". This should hopefully let more people get the feeling of being published for the first time! Okay, now all you regulars can whack me with the NT and throw dung at me.
